I became fascinated with the service provided by the Budget. I moved from Ohio to Michigan renting a truck from the Budget which was the most cheapest of all that I found. And the service..I love it very much. No any worries if you drop the truck following some instructions after hours. Just became a fan of it. I would highly recommend it for someone who is planning to move a long distance. Thanks!

The local Budget Truck rental stores I've done business with are nice and helpful, but it's the national roadside assistance and customer service that is awful. Halfway through our journey, the ABS light came on on the dash. We did our part by stopping in a decent sized city (where there was a budget truck location) and called their national roadside assistance helpline. After waiting 20 minutes for them to call back after our initial call, they advised us to keep driving because it's "probably just an issue with the sensor, not the brakes themselves." Well, about an hour later, the rotor came completely off the wheel and we were lucky to maintain control of the vehicle…

I rented a 24-footer from Budget in Lincoln, NE and dropped it off in Manhattan, KS. But my job was to take my load to near Houston, Texas. Because Budget offers UNLIMITED miles, they didn't care how far or where I drove it. My cost for this one-way was about $650, wheras a one-way to Houston would have been over $1200. Yes I had to drive longer and it cost more gas, but I still saved about $450. But don't fall for Budget's 20% online or AARP discount. They build the extra cost into their price. UHaul was same prices without discounts, but UHaul doesn't have cruise control and Budget does. And UHaul doesn'y have unlimited mileage.
