I would absolutely not recommend Good Greek Moving & Storage based on our experience.
We had a very specific moving window at our office building from 5:00–7:00 PM. At 5:00 PM, when the movers were supposed to have already arrived, we received a call informing us that they were going to be another hour late because they were coming from Fort Lauderdale. Anyone familiar with South Miami and the traffic between Fort Lauderdale and downtown Miami knows that this is not a realistic one-hour trip during that time of day.
Because of the delay, we had to rearrange everything and schedule the move for the following day. To their credit, they did arrive on time the next day.
Unfortunately, that is where the positive part of the experience ended.
The movers did an awful job handling the furniture and belongings. Several pieces of furniture were damaged, and a painting was also damaged during the move. We were extremely disappointed, particularly because this was the office of a Korean-American veteran attorney who has been practicing law for 67 years, and we expected our belongings and professional office to be treated with care and respect.
We were told they would come back to correct the mess. However, when they did, they left boxes scattered throughout the office rather than putting them where they belonged. Instead of resolving the situation, it left us with even more work and frustration.
A moving company should be dependable, careful, and respectful of a customer's property. Unfortunately, our experience with Good Greek was none of those things.
Would I recommend Good Greek Moving & Storage? Absolutely not. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering them to think carefully and consider other moving companies.
