After an unhelpful experience elsewhere, I was nervous about choosing someone to handle our move. Chris took the time to address my concerns, which helped me feel more confident. We handled the packing of the boxes ourselves, and the team took care of the packing of our furniture, on both ends. A few scheduling details needed attention, but they worked with us to get them resolved. Thank you to Chris, Richard, and the trucking crews for your help throughout the move!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. HAWAII MOVE PROS IS THE MOST UNPROFESIONAL DECEITFUL MOVING COMPANY EVER. I am a 30-year military veteran and have moved 14 times with government contact and privately. Hawaii Moving Pros’ line is local Kapolei company, but the packers, shipping and delivery were all subcontracted to different companies. Once I paid them money all customer assistance calls went to a company in California. The packers gave a 5-hour show window, then called 10 minutes before the end of the window that they were still busy with another job and will come first thing the next morning. So, I took another vacation day from work, guess what, no show again, calls me at noon and said can’t make it again! Finally show that afternoon in an Enterprise rent a truck. Pack 90% of my stuff and said can’t pack the rest until I pay another $1200.00. Price started at $4200 and ended up at $7200. Had to pay on the spot or they threaten to leave. Then after they left, I went outside and they left a big TV all wrapped and tagged. The “forgot” it and I had to wait around for them to come back the next morning to pick it up. Upon delivery they hit us up for a $400 shuttle fee because their 75ft tractor trailer would not fit in my condo complex. From the VERY BEGINNING of this contract I made it clear it was a gated community, and my condo was on the 3rd floor. They said no problem. So, this sub-contractor drives a giant truck around that does not fit in many place and up charges everyone for “shuttle fees”. They also THEN tried to charge extra because they had to walk up to the Third Floor! My son had to do most of the carrying to avoid the EXTRA STAIRS CHARGE

After getting very unfriendly and actually not very helpful "help" from Matson. I went looking for a different company. Once I filled out a moving form somewhere online I was then overwhelmed by contacts and offers!! I had no idea how to tell who was legitimate! I said as much on an email with Chris. He sent me to a website that reviewed multiple moving companies. I chose their company and am grateful I did. They had the container delivered, picked up, delivered at the other end and picked up again. We chose to do our own packing, but they did offer that as well. The trucking companies were professional, polite and helpful. When we did have some scheduling issues, and fears about shipping costs, due to politics, they were all worked out in a helpful and professional manner. Shout out to Steve, Chris, and Teddy. Thank you all very much.

Aloha! I had a super, wonderful positive experience with Hawaii Moving Pros + Move Happy! Hawaii Moving Pros exceeded client expectations. Mo and his team are attentive and responsive in their communications via phone conversations, emails and text messaging. Mo and his team of professionals are reputable and reliable in their moving services from start to finish. Mo and Nathan are patient in explaining the entire moving process which alleviated my anxious, worrisome energy because of a lifestyle change moving from a new state to relocate to my home state with their moving services again from my first move. At the start, Mo clearly explained everything to prepare for this move, following up with detailed information in email communications. If I had any questions or concerns, Mo and Nathan could be contacted via office call or mobile call for clarification. Over communicating was extremely beneficial and appreciated from a client perspective because Mo/Nathan efficiently and effectively resolved my inquiries to my complete satisfaction. Each of my boxes had a bright yellow label with a number and tracking barcode for a client to know the status of their belongings en route. I received text messaging for frequent updates which I appreciated to inform me. My cherished photos, sentimental, valuable belongings arrived at the destination on our agreed upon timeline. I highly recommend Hawai’i Moving Pros + Move Happy for the best customer care! Moving from a large family home in Kona to Oregon was the final step for me in emptying my house. My husband had passed away and I could no longer maintain a big house. I decided to move back to the mainland to be closer to family. My three children traveled to Kona for their final visits to our beautiful place and decide what heirlooms and other valuables they wanted to have shipped. Hawaiian Moving Pros was the best solution to three separate shipments to three different states. My move was the last shipment. Each time they sent very professional, friendly movers who were careful with packing paintings, wrapping furniture or large items in moving blankets, marking every box and item with name, address, and item number so that nothing would be lost. We were very impressed with how quickly they worked together, and how careful they were with everything. Each shipment was delivered to the destination we wanted, unloaded, and carefully placed. Edward Vallasenor from Hawaii was in touch with me every step of my move until to the delivery in Oregon. Migeul, from Los Angeles, has made sure everything was received in good shape in Oregon. I have already recommended HMP to my friends.
