Do not use Moishe’s. A one-bedroom move TWO BLOCKS AWAY, from a second floor to a second floor, somehow took 7 hours. Of the three movers, only one seemed to know what he was doing. I literally watched another struggle to fold a rug.
Worse, they mishandled my jewelry cabinet so badly that everything inside was thrown into a pile at the bottom, damaging a pair of expensive earrings. Moishe’s acknowledges that their crew moved the cabinet but denied my damage claim because they “cannot determine” the condition of the earrings beforehand.
Seven hours, an inexperienced crew, damaged belongings, and then zero accountability. I would never use them again.
