Title: Raptor Vanlines - A Dishonest and Manipulative Nightmare
My experience with Raptor Vanlines has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Liz, the person responsible for booking appointments, seems to deliberately underestimate costs to lure people in. This sets the stage for them to take advantage of customers on moving day when vulnerability is at its peak. Despite numerous attempts to speak to a manager, not a single individual has had the courage or concern to respond.
Diane, purportedly a manager, is utterly useless, repeating company lies and enforcing policies that conveniently go undisclosed during pickup or appointment booking. The initial promised delivery timeframe was 7-10 days from pickup, but here I am, 24 days later, and they claim it will be another week until my belongings arrive.
To add insult to injury, they quoted $3000 over the phone after a detailed list was provided, but upon pickup, the charge skyrocketed to $8000. This kind of deceitful behavior is unacceptable.
Raptor Vanlines operates as a den of liars, manipulators, and, in my view, criminals. My advice to anyone considering their services is to stay as far away as possible. They've left me feeling deceived and robbed, and I want others to avoid falling victim to their dishonest practices.
