   Title: Raptor Vanlines - A Dishonest and Manipulative Nightmare My experience with Raptor Vanlines has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others. If I could give zero stars, I would. Liz, the person responsible for booking appointments, seems to deliberately underestimate costs to lure people in. This sets the stage for them to take advantage of customers on moving day when vulnerability is at its peak. Despite numerous attempts to speak to a manager, not a single individual has had the courage or concern to respond. Diane, purportedly a manager, is utterly useless, repeating company lies and enforcing policies that conveniently go undisclosed during pickup or appointment booking. The initial promised delivery timeframe was 7-10 days from pickup, but here I am, 24 days later, and they claim it will be another week until my belongings arrive. To add insult to injury, they quoted $3000 over the phone after a detailed list was provided, but upon pickup, the charge skyrocketed to $8000. This kind of deceitful behavior is unacceptable. Raptor Vanlines operates as a den of liars, manipulators, and, in my view, criminals. My advice to anyone considering their services is to stay as far away as possible. They've left me feeling deceived and robbed, and I want others to avoid falling victim to their dishonest practices.

   Stay away, the worst scammers of all time

   PLEASE NOTE ALL THEIR POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE!! This is another horrible scam moving company, formerly known as "Blue Hawk Van Lines" - go read their awful reviews as well. Their scammy sales person, Richard, assured me they'd beat the price of my UPak pod to relocate from CA to FL. All I had were a few boxes and small items. When the driver arrived (after I had already cancelled my pod) they tried to charge me $5,100 for my move instead of $1,852. FOR LESS ITEMS than I was even quoted for initially!! I turned them away, willing to lose my deposit rather than deal with horrible people like this who take advantage of people when they're vulnerable and have no other options at the last moment. In the end they called me back 2-3 times and came down on their price to $2,400. Still $550 more than I was supposed to pay. My items did arrive in approximately 3 weeks and luckily all was there undamaged, but I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. Highly recommend saving yourself the headache and unnecessary stress and use a pod and hire people to help you load the pod if needed.

   they increase the price when they pick up your items.

   Beware...make sure you DO NOT hire a moving broker like this company. My price went up 3 times what was on my initial quote, even though there were less items than what was listed. Later they refuse to return the deposit, claiming that I canceled the service at the last minute, but I did it because they raised the quote at the last minute. These companies are a scam. INCREASE THE PRICE AT THE LAST MOMENT because the client has no other option, it does not come from an honest or professional company. I did not take the service and now I am disputing with my bank the refund of the deposit made it. Very bad experience.
