This was the carrier hired to move us from the Dallas/Fort Worth area to Galveston, and it was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
Our belongings were damaged throughout the move. They completely destroyed our 65” Samsung TV, chipped and damaged furniture, chipped our glass table, and even failed to deliver one of our items. We documented everything and submitted our damage claim, and they still have not provided a meaningful response. Calls and messages have gone unanswered, and they have shown no sense of urgency to resolve the damage they caused.
Their scheduling issues also forced us to cancel a hotel reservation. The broker, Full Value Van Lines, stepped up and reimbursed us for that expense because Relocation Moves Inc. never did.
If you’re using a moving broker, always ask which carrier will actually be moving your belongings. If the carrier is Relocation Moves Inc. (DOT 4487806 / MC 1773516), I strongly recommend requesting a different one. The broker doesn’t load the truck or handle your possessions—the carrier does.
Relocation Moves Inc. operates out of the Central/North Texas region, serving the Waco and Dallas/Fort Worth areas. Based on our experience, I would never trust them with my belongings again. Once our move was complete and they had been paid, getting them to communicate or take responsibility became nearly impossible.
We trusted this company with everything we owned, and they let us down. I hope this review helps someone else avoid the frustration, damaged property, and lack of customer service that we’ve experienced.
