THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. I am filing a complaint with the FMCSA and reaching out to an attorney who specializing in consumer protection. They quoted us $3,200 for a move. After contracting Rhino, I saw these reviews but they already had our deposit so I was hoping for the best. The movers who worked directly for Rhino showed up the day of the move and DEMANDED $10k to move our stuff. We had a flight planned and are closing escrow in 2 days so they knew we had little choice. We are renting a truck and are moving ourselves. A $7,000 difference is not a mistake and they are trying to keep our $1,000 deposit. I am going to have to fight to get that back. We gave them a full, accurate inventory of our entire house. They purposely and systematically quote low and then hold people hostage when they know people have planned for a move and have sold their home. I am just lucky we gave ourselves a few days in case something happened. We got lucky. If this was the day of close of escrow, we would be stuck. I am hoping to get with other people who got scammed by them to get together to see if we can take action as a group.

I would give no stars if possible. This company caused me and my family so much stress and heartache, it's difficult to put into words. But, I will try because I don't want anyone else to become victimized by this company. We were making a long distance move from Miami to Los Angeles. Howard assured me that they handled cross country moves all the time. I chose them based on price as well as Howard bad mouthing the competition. I should have known better. At any rate, the pick up went somewhat smoothly, but the delivery was not smooth at all. We had to call every day for several weeks to find out the status of our truck. It took 3 weeks longer than quoted. We usually didn’t even get information when we called. Therefore, we were in our home in Los Angeles for several weeks without anything. Then when our items arrived, it was a huge cluster---. Almost every box was damaged in some way. There were many high ticket items missing, and the guys that delivered really didn’t care. Howard had assured me that they did not sub contract, but my delivery guys barely knew Rhinos name. They just advised me to file a claim, which I did. When our items arrived, it looked like we had been the bottom of the barrel in the moving truck.,,and we had a lot of stuff. Either way it appeared that our items were at the bottom of their pile from Miami to LA, and that’s how they were delivered. My husband had been advised at the pick up to not purchase the additional insurance…BIG MISTAKE. I also tried to claim it on our homeowners insurance. That didn’t work either. Essentially, after hours of documentation including images and pricing, we were given a settlement of $72.00. The total of our damage exceeded $8000.00. I will include the inventory list I provided to Rhino. I ended up working with Rhino after that and Michelle promised they were going to rectify the situation in some way. After several months of talking to her and trusting her, she went off the grid. So here I am now offering innocent people my experience with the hopes that this behavior will not be repeated. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT REPUTABLE. NOR CAN THEY HANDLE A CROSS COUNTRY MOVE MUCH LESS A SMALL MOVE.

As I got a new business opportunity there in Dallas, TX we have decided to move from Miami, FL. From all of the moving companies I spoke to, rhino moving was undoubtedly by far the most competitive and accurate once we got the estimate and quote from. They were on time, properly dressed and were very efficient. The movers were extremely patient and friendly. Our possessions were delivered on time and without any trouble. Job well done!

Not only did they pick up our items late, we had to beg them to deliver our items. They were "stuck" in warehouse in NJ for almost 4 weeks. When they delivered, we were missing 4 large boxes, one of which was a wardrobe box. They insisted on giving us items that did not belong to us. They will not take these items back and cannot locate our missing items. I've followed up with them time and time again to search for my items and all they tell me is to file a claim. It's not about the money - it's about my sentimental personal belongings. I would recommend finding someone else unless you want a headache. .

Do!! Not!! Hire!! Rhino movers inc were liars from the beginning to the end!! Saleman Howard lied about the price ,the contract ,thier services, the fact they own thier trucks and thier standing with the BBB which has been REVOKED !! They were 12 hours late in picking furniture up and then proceeded to more than double the quote at pick up !! The time of delivery they put me off for over a week calling me every day saying it would be the next day ..then by the time they finally got there after they took their last payment they said it was so late in the evening that they can only reassemble one bed ..My husband and son had to end up helping them carry the boxes in !! This was the biggest crock of crap I've ever experienced!! Save yourself a headache and not hire them!!
