Trust me, do not use this company! They are scammers, read the BBB reviews that they have NEVER responded to. My husband and I were researching moving companies as we are moving out of state. The scam this company pulls is, they quote you a low amount ($1900) then require a down payment, then tell you, you will receive a call the day before your move to go over everything. Well my husband called two weeks before just for clarification. We were then quoted $5400!!! Plus our deposit is not refundable!!! They prey on people in time crunches offer a deal that is hard to resist and then when you have no time to do anything else, surprise the cost is now three times what they initially told you. Beware, trust me!

I was extremely pleased with the service that I received on this last move everything was properly wrapped the movers were courteous on time, and the price was fair. Probably one of the best moving experiences I’ve had thus far and being formal military, I have moved many times in my life. Thanks again guys for the outstanding work I really appreciate it and so does my family and new baby Laura.

I was moving from NY to Florida. They pitched me on that they are Florida based so they are better equipped then hiring a NY company. They never told me they were “brokers” and not actual movers. Then on the morning of my move a company shows up and tells me they grossly underquoted me based on cubic feet & that the cost would be double. I called my rep to complain and he was receptive in helping. He told me he would talk to a supervisor & get back to me. Then I had this guy Rick call me to tell me the people at my house aren’t my assigned movers and to throw them out. By this time they had moved all my boxes in the truck. I threatened to call the police so they unpacked the truck. Then 2 hours later the real mover showed up. He was nice & honest & explained that Royal Palm are just brokers & this other company was trying to steal the job. The real mover did confirm that they grossly underquoted me and that because of what happened he wasn’t going to take payment until I worked it out with the company. Then Rick called me back and demanded cash or Venmo to a personal account. I refused & he said they would keep my stuff if I didn’t pay. So I went to bank & got a cashiers check for 1/2 the amount. I told him this was ridiculous and he responded with a laugh and said “you signed the contract buddy too bad”. The real mover told me this is what they do. Luckily I refused to pay the large down payment they wanted because I didn’t want them to no show. The real mover told me they were on him to make sure he shows which confirmed to me they needed to figure out how to make money on me because I wouldn’t give them the large down payment they originally wanted. My direct real mover was great in the end but this company are scammers and will steal your money and hold your things hostage. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!
