We are so in shock at what just happened with this company!!! Hired for pack and move. The woman on the phone, Frances, was an utter professional and reassured us that we would have 3 “experienced, professional packers” come to prepare the house for our move. Day of packing arrives: 2 young guys show up, over an hour late from the latest start time given. One readily admits he’s never packed a house before and has been working for the company for under a month… $186 an hour for a “professional” that’s never done the job before?! I could hire a neighborhood kid for $20 an hour to do the same. We sent them home.

My grandmother needed to be moved out of her assisted living facility because my grandfather passed away last week. We are scrambling to get her out and she is on a limited income. I called around to 4 different movers and ultimately chose THE Moving Company because they were a local to Boerne business and they had the cheapest price per hour, at $126.50. We were set to move today, Monday morning. They called us this morning to let us know that they were increasing the price to $165 because they would be adding another person to help move. They explained to me that they needed to hurry our job up this morning and that they added another man to assist with that, so we would have to incur the cost increase. This makes ZERO sense. I booked for one price. That is the price I was willing to pay. Just because they want to hurry up our job, doesn't mean I need to pay that increase. The man who I spoke with kept explaining it to me like he was doing ME a favor by not charging for the extra man power.. but I never asked for extra man power to begin with! He was argumentative and kept speaking over me and acting as if I was incompetent. I hung up and then their manager called. He treated me the exact same way. We ended up cancelling. My grandmother was in tears and called back to speak to them.. they continued to be rude to her! Then she asked for their license number, probably to make a complaint and they REFUSED To give it to her. RUN don't walk from this company. If dealing with arrogant people is your thing.. than by all means go ahead, but consider yourself warned. We just wanted to support local.. NO THANKS.

I have NEVER had a moving company so slow! I had less then a 1-bedroom apartment (no heavy appliances, no huge furniture) to move and they took FOREVER (4.5 hours and the new location was only 2 miles away). The movers sweat all over my furniture, walls, and boxes (eeeewwww), took forever doing the job . . . AND 2 hours before they finished, the office put through their initial charge. When done, they added the rest. The "rest" put me over the top. DO NOT HIRE this company. My calls, emails have gone unanswered/ignored. Very unprofessional and way too expensive.

Over charged me, super rude, and customer service was useless when I called them. Do not recommend! They sent two more men without my knowledge or constant and charged me extra for that. They also left a whole in my wall. So disappointed with my move.

This company charged me $516.41 for only moving 6 furniture from 1st floor 1 bed to 15mins away another 1st floor 1 bed apartment, and over charged me 1.53 hour for $170.03 and they ignored and blocked me for 5 days. Only the receipt alone has 1, 3.33hr multiple 99.50 is $331.34, but they wrote $331.67. 2, Initial 99.50 plus 331.67 plus fuel 38.03 and wrap 29.75 is actually $498.95, but they wrote $516.41! 3, the actual hour is 1233–1025-20mins= 1hr 48mins= 1.8hr. but they wrote 3.33hr! Because they wasted so many time just standing there do nothing but put on the labor hour: 1. They were standing 25mins to wait until their boss got the money first then they started to work. 2. They went to the wrong unloading location I waited and waited and had to take another 20mins to look for them 3. Took them literally 11mins to write me the receipt. The movers were really slow and nonprofessional. They must move slow because that’s how they get paid more by hourly. Please rethink about it don’t get fooled by them, get details how they charge you before hiring them, SAVE YOUR MONEY!
