Moved from Wilmington, NC to Bridgeport, CT. I paid to store my furniture for 12 months, $575 per month. They assured me that it was climate controlled. When they delivered my furniture, only a couple pieces were noticeably broken and boxes crushed, but everything was covered with mildew. The antique wood chests, armoires and even the bed rails were mildewed. My upholstered furniture was molded & the fabric had stretched out. My leather LeCorbusier club chairs and chaise were starting to rust. I filed the claim and followed up with 2 registered letters, multiple emails and calls over the past 12 months and never have received a reply. The claims agent says "You'll hear from us" but never a response, and of course, no compensation.
