I have nothing but bad experience with them. The workers were very bad and slow. They were in the car for over 30 minutes (3 out of 4 men) caused damages to my furniture, walls and floors) did not get compensated for anything. SAVE YOURSELF HASLE AND FIND A ANOTHER MOVER..

We used Westmount moving for our recent move from Montreal to Ottawa. We have moved numerous times over the years, and normally we dread the experience, but this was by far the best experience we have ever had with a moving company. Jonathan was the team leader, and his professionalism was apparent from the begining. He took great care to explain exactly what his guys would do amd how they would do it, and the care the whole team showed with our belongings was beyond our expectations. They were all very friendly and genuinely personable, and worked quickly and efficiently. They werre equally efficient unloading and unpacking our stuff, and their car in keeping the new house clean throughout the process was especially appreciated. We also had some very large, heavy and bulky gym equipment to move into the basement, and they dismantled the gym so as to be able to make it fit in the corridor and prevent damage to the walls and put everything back together perfectly once in place. We are 100% satisfied - I have seen the other negative reviews and all I can say is that those reviews do not reflect the service we received. We will not hesitate to use them again.

The company did a good job in quoting with good site survey. the charges were reasonable and the team was professional. The packing and loading team were perfect! however, there was a big delay in the shipment instead of 40 days it took them 90 days to deliver to dubai. The problem was with the shipping company MSC. the biggest problem is communication: they do not communicate the delays and reasons and they never give any expected time. i understand when the shipment is in the sea you cannot push it faster but what I cannot understand is a shipment held at the port of dubai for 3 weeks without finding a way to release due to paper works mistakes and charges. i had to pay for a hotel for 2 weeks waiting for my shipment. i did claim the hotel just to see the response and the worst thing was the response :"The holiday in the UAE also had a part to play in the delay and the extra charges that we will have to pay for. Normally these charges are passed on to the owner of the goods but since your shipment has already delivered and given the circumstances I don’t think you’d be very willing to pay such an invoice" imagine that after a long delay they tell me that they have paid the cost of dubai port and normally they will charge this back to the customer.. note that: when they delivered the shipment in dubai the unpacking team was very good as well.

Needing a moving company I contacted several companies that advertise on TSN690. I came up with Westmount Moving, not because of the price but because of the procedure's they gave me. Moving advisor Kelli Bew's was very helpful and knowledgeable so the first question I asked was"BED BUGS" How are you going to protect me from bed bugs. Kelli went thru all the procedures and I was satisfied with her answer. Damage was the next question..These are professional movers not agency people! Are they perfect..nope. They nicked one door frame and it took me 30 seconds to touch up with paint. Didn't damage any furniture. I estimated a 5 hr job but they were in and out in 4. At the end of the day I highly recommend Westmount Moving. Truly a professional company. Funny advertising also on the radio. Thank you Westmount Moving!! Ed Shields Movers ate all my Timbits!!lol.

Will never use this company again. The guys were hard working. Company underestimated size of truck had to move in two truck loads. Insurance was not well explained to me. All items scratched and dented were not insured. Some money was stolen from my purse left on counter. I still as of today find items that they damaged. One of my worst moves ever.
