FAQ

UK removals FAQ, 2026

There is no national UK remover licence. Check Companies House, goods-in-transit cover on boxes you packed, and waiting time on completion day. ULEZ belongs on the quote if London is either end.

Why this matters

Late keys and a GIT hole on owner-packed china are how a cheap figure becomes the day you remember.

Why Haulest

Pounds, official desks, a phone. We are not a remover.

One question, one answer

Is BAR the licence?
No. It is a trade scheme. Check Companies House and GIT.
What is goods in transit?
Insurance on the van, not a licence. Owner-pack is the usual hole. Ask the limit in writing.
Waiting time?
Completion-day keys slip. Ask the hourly before completion day. See the UK waiting-time guide.
Do I need a TfL dispensation?
If you will stop on a TfL red route in restricted hours. Borough roads are a different desk.
Inbound crate?
HMRC transfer of residence. That is a customs page, not a visa page.
Do you rank removers?
No.
