How to read the FMCSA rights booklet, 2026

As of September 2026, 49 CFR 375.213 still says a US interstate mover must give you Ready to Move and Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move with the written estimate. Appendix A still names the released-value waiver as 60 cents per pound per article. The trust hub is the overview. This page is what to initial.

Why this matters

The driveway fight is a waiver you ticked because it looked like a fee you could skip.

Why Haulest

We cite 375.213 and Appendix A. A phone here is not a booking.

A person on the phone is faster than a form if you already know the dates. If you cannot talk now, leave From, To, and a number.

Initial the expensive box on purpose

Appendix A’s example is still the one we opened: a 10-pound stereo worth $1,000 pays $6 on released value. Full Value’s minimum in that booklet is $6.00 per pound times shipment weight. Do not initial the cheap box because it looks optional.
