What to know before the deposit
In-state household-goods carriers are licensed by the DPU and quote from a filed tariff. Boston's September 1 turnover is the one week a year every crew in the state is booked; the permit does not make a truck appear.
Registered is not the same as good. A state credential means the office can find the company and that it filed what the state requires. Read the dated reviews, then call.
