   Please Help Us Locate Our Items!

   We are writing this "review" as a shot in the dark, hoping against hope that somebody out there may know where our lost boxes are. We moved from California in June. We used 24/7 Movers. They stored our items for a month, and then shipped them to Florida. 4 boxes of my father's personal writings were lost or stolen or delivered to the wrong address. We have a box that belongs to someone else, which we are willing to ship at our expense. This box contains a tan jacket, some cds (AC/DC, etc.), some toy guns, toy car, etc. If this sounds like your items, please leave a comment, and we will try to get in touch with you. Likewise, if ANYBODY recieved boxes full of handwritten notebooks/books by mistake, PLEASE leave a comment/review here! These writings are very personal, as my dad is a creative writer and he is very sick. It is beyond stressful for us to have lost these items. It is my belief that these boxes may have been opened and gone through by the movers themselves due to the fact that they were marked "important", and perhaps discarded when they could not find anything worth selling. This moving company is full of rude, immoral people, and when you call they tell you "it's impossible to track down your belongings"!! I'm sorry, but I thought keeping track of our belongings was their job. One of our boxes that was delivered HAD BEEN gone through and several items were stolen. Also, when they arrived to pick up our items, they charged us 3X what they had estimated. So, obviously, we have little hope of recovering our items, but if anybody has any information PLEASE HELP US. Thank you.

   Beware of this company.

   This company is a broker that subcontracts the moving services to other companies.  This was not disclosed during the telephone estimate.  Promises were made that could not be honored by the subcontractor; charges were added by subcontractors that loaded my truck. I had to pay an additonal $700.00  or not get moved.  Delays were experienced and customer service was nonexistent.  Due to communication failures my belongings actually arrived in IDaho 2 weeks ahead of schedule.  The driver of the truck called me and informed that "you had better figure it out". After many phone calls to complain I finally made contact with the VP of the brokerage company who informed me that he has no working knowledge of what the subcontractors do. I  have experienced 25% loss to my dishware and decorator items; boxes that were actually smashed and contents in complete shards; it is so sad. The only bright spot was the subcontractor who unpacked me in Idaho, professional and courteous, they did a great job; known as Safer Way Moving and Storage. Note the difference in the quote and what I finally paid; this company cannot be trusted; please beware. I filed a complaint with BBB who advised me to pursue litigation. Save yourself the heartache and choose ANYBODY else!

   Hi my name is Jose Morales the true owner of 24/7 Movers of League City Tx. We only operate in the State of Texas and I am not a moving broker. I am the only person who answers the phone or books moves. The Bbb which we have a A rating with has not even mentioned a complaint let alone failed mediation Between us and Connie we have zero complaints on file with Bbb. I am almost positive she either has the wrong company listed or a false complaint by a competitor all together. We stand by our service every single move. We charge only by the hour with low 2 and 3 man rates. We only use full time employes who are hand picked and trained by me personally. We have never doubled a bill or extorted anyone in six years so Movingreviews.com please take down this false report about 24/7 Movers League City. Thank you for your help in resolving this false complaint..
