   Could Not Have Been Better

   I'm a repeat customer thrilled with another perfect move!! Milton (Foreman) and Milton could not have been nicer, faster, or more professional. No detail was overlooked - I was going to move my many unboxed files in my office closet myself but they said not a problem! They set everything up perfectly and even took down the things from the wall I had yet to do - this is the type of care that distinguishes 495 Movers from all the rest!! I cannot recommend Milton & Milton more highly, have helped me so much.

   My move

   My experience with 495 Movers exceeded my expectations! The window was given between 8-9am for arrival to my storage units. The two gentlemen arrived exactly at 8am in what was a Torrential Rain and wind storm. They arrived at our home, 2 and half hours away promptly, despite the horrendous weather. They stacked our boxes neatly in our garage and even supplied extra boxes for some of our loose items and securely taped them up. The job was estimated to take 9 hours total including travel time and they were almost exactly 9 hours. No over charge. Wow! Is all I can say. We had other deliveries scheduled that day and the company canceled due to the bad weather. Not 495 Movers. They even had to drive over the Bay Bridge with high winds and downpouring rain. My coworker and friend had referred me to 495 Movers and told me I would not be disappointed. She was so right!

   Amazing Move

   495 Movers did an incredible job with my move from DC to Silver Spring. They were on time, the process was extremely efficient, and they did a phenomenal job of keeping all my things secure and safe. I’m extremely pleased and will definitely be using them again for any future moves!

   Good experience

   Movers showed up on time and were courteous. They were careful with items and wrapped everything in a proper manner. They arrived at my new location which was several states away quickly. I would recommend them after this experience.

   Smooth Move!

   the 3 person crew from 495 showed up right on time, were very professional and even completed the entire job a full 30 minutes early, which saved us money on the estimate they'd provided. We would definitely recommend the company for anyone looking for a move in the DMV.

   Amazing movers!

   Great communication, very flexible and helpful in setting move-in and move-out dates, friendly, and very efficient! Nothing was damaged during the move, and the process was quick and stress-free during both move-in and move-out. Cannot recommend 495 movers enough - they are wonderful!

   They did fabulous!

   495 Movers

   495 Movers was great in all aspects. They moved my daughter from Silver Spring, MD to Capitol Hill area of DC. From the first call to completing the move, it was first rate. Office staff was most helpful in setting things up. I stopped at their warehouse location two days before and met Isaac, the General Mgr. I guess he could tell I was getting pretty stressed out. Helped me get all the materials I needed (which were included in the price) and was most reassuring. On the day of the move Gustavo and his colleagues arrived right on time and handled everything perfectly. Great work!

   Yes, The BEST Moving Company EVER!!!!

   495 Movers moved my mom into my home in LaPlata on the 24th of April 2023. She's 85 years old and never experienced a moving company. She was amazed at how 495 Movers handled her furniture. They wrapped it (what a surprise), re-packed and secured her boxed items. Once 495 Movers unloaded the truck in LaPlata, that was exciting for her. 495 Movers placed everything with no problem where she wanted it. Of course I was not surprised because 495 Movers was recommended by a friend of mine in 2021. I used them to move furniture from my home in Upper Marlboro to storage in White Plains and once my home was completed in LaPlata, they moved my furniture there. Everything was seamless. NO DRAMA! I would use them to move to planet Mars....LOL!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!...if I could give them a TRILLION STARS I would.

    Bad experience

    I had to cancel our contract before the actual move. This company will tell you one thing on the phone and then send you a contract to sign that is contrary to what was discussed. this happened two times. In both instances resulting in a much higher cost to the customer.
