   Misleading and half truths.

   I contacted several companies for a cost proposal to move my household belongings from Kansas to Texas. Affordable Moving Group came in 2nd with the cost estimate. Mr. Nathan Thomas called me and informed me that when they give a cost estimate it will NEVER change. He never came to my house to review items that needed to be moved. I informed him what I had. He also informed me that all other companies are brokers and not an actual moving company. Yet, I found out that they (Affordable Moving) had subcontracted my move with TR Moving System (another UNPROFESSIONAL company). When I complained to Mr. Nathan Thomas as to why my move was subcontracted, he had NO excuse. He has not replied to any one of my dozen phone calls with messages. The original cost was $1,964 and now I am forced to pay $2,839.37. This is what I call "holding my belongings as hostage", if I don't pay the amount. I had paid $135 for packing material, while the moving company charged me additional $255. I would NEVER hire the services of this company or it's subcontracted company TR Moving Systems. BEWARE of false advertising and misleading statements.
