   Horrific move:I did NOT HIRE THEM, they just showed UP as sub

   Facts: ALL MY SONS OF BOSTON caused me to lose $55,271 [they caused $45,115 of damages to my family’s household goods(HHGs) & demanded $10,156 of unjust enrichment (ALL MY SONS OF BOSTON demanded full payment of my Binding estimate [$20,415] even though they did not move 50% of my contracted HHGs]. ALL MY SONS OF BOSTON claimed their driver abandoned the truck w/my HHGs, taking the Department of Transportation (DOT)-required Inventory. Without the Inventory, I could not use my $64,000 of moving insurance coverage. ALL MY SONS OF BOSTON promised to cover my insurance, but stopped all contact, directing me to ALL MY SONS INTERSTATE SERVICES, LLC in Carrollton, TX?!? [ALL MY SONS]. ALL MY SON’s May 8, 2024 total settlement offer--22 months after my move? $6,310. For what? Less than 10% [$5,250] of the $55,271 of direct losses they caused & less than 2% [$1,060] of the $64,000 of insurance repair coverage ALL MY SONS’ OF BOSTON caused me to lose...& ALL MY SONS required I agree to sign the following to get the $6,310: "I agree to keep the terms of this "Release and Settlement Agreement" confidential. All parties agree to not disparage one another in any way on any public forum and agree not to write negative or disparaging statements regarding services performed or communication that transpired between the parties." I turned down ALL MY SONS "offer" so I could post these facts & hopefully help others avoid an ordeal like mine. Forfeiting $6,310 is a big deal, particularly since I have already lost well over $55,000 w/more losses pending, but I could not in good conscience either agree to their insulting offer or attest I was not under duress. In my case, I made All My Sons aware my urgent move was because my husband was hospitalized w/a life-threatening illness, & I continued to make it clear that I just wanted the $45,115 of damages repaired, waiving significant other losses to avoid additional stress during my family’s medical challenges. Most actions taken by ALL MY SONS appear to disregard protections DOT represents are required of the interstate movers. Requirements like: (a) Movers must notify shippers in writing if Shippers’ contracted Movers could be substituted. (I negotiated a Binding Estimate w/ALL MY SONS of Kansas City, NOT ALL MY SONS OF BOSTON); (b) Movers must provide DOT-specified documentation at pickup & delivery (ALL MY SONS OF BOSTON provided NO paperwork); (c) Movers cannot make changes to finalized Binding Estimates w/o shippers’ consent (as ALL MY SONS’ Moving & Storage of Kansas City attempted), etc. ALL MY SONS’ nondisclosure requirement, along w/the many different names each ALL MY SONS location appears to have, might be why there are not more posted complaints about ALL MY SONS. As just one example, Massachusetts’ Dept. of Public Utilities registers ALL MY SONS OF BOSTON, but there is also an All My Sons Moving & Storage at the same Stoneham, MA address. DOT registers ALL MY SONS OF BOSTON as located in Carrollton, TX, not Stoneham. Anne E-H
