   All Points Movers, LLC Experience.

   I made the moving arrangements from my home in Florida for my daughter living in Connecticut and moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in July, 2017. Due to time constraints the owner, Lindsay St. James was very sensitive to our needs and worked with me to help figure out a way to accommodate the situation. Thank you, Lindsay for your professionalism and kindness. I knew we were in good hands for the entire process. Lindsay mentioned he was going to have his two best movers, Armond and Hiram, work with us. I went up to help my daughter move and we both were pleasantly surprised with the entire ease of it all. That was definitely because of Armond and Hiram. They were very professional, worked quickly, but carefully, and really worked as a team. My family and I would recommend this company to everyone.

   I worked with All Points Movers after starting my first job out of school, for a move 20 mins down the road. Although I was so, so ready to love the experience and service, I unfortunately am not writing that 5 star review I had hoped for, but convey the same grievance that many other negative reviews here express. When I began the process, I made very clear that price was a critical factor to me, and I had called many many companies for estimates. All Points gave me the best, with great professionalism and reassurance and I was excited and confident in my choice. By the end of this 4 hour move I received my invoice. Now I totally understand that final costs will never be the exact estimate, but my heart sank when I saw that the cost was over 60% higher than the original estimate provided for me. Immediately I got on the phone with the business owner who I had worked with, and who up until this point had been nothing but friendly. Explaining my confusion with the enormous disparity I hoped not to disregard the extra costs but find some middle ground given the unusual disparity between estimate and total, especially for a 4 hr, very local move. However, I was entirely unprepared for that phone call. I wasn't disturbed by his compete refusal to compromise as much as his outright denial that we had ever gone over details of my move, although on 2 occasions we had reviewed everything from apartment layout, parking, every piece of furniture from lamps to side tables and expectations for disassembling specific items. While writing a check hundreds of dollars over the estimate definitely hurt, it was the total invalidation of my experience that ruined my service with All Points for me. Being told that multiple conversations that you've had never happen is disrespect, hurtful, and worst of all, invalidating. Walking away from working with All Points made me feel embarrassed because if the lack of professionalism. I will say that I'm 22 years old and admittedly new to a lot of this, so I write this with the hope that others with more limited experience don't make the same mistake that I did with this business. Please be careful. I also recommend that the owner of this business be more forthcoming with the true cost of their services, and more importantly- do not gaslight and invalidate customers who are justifiably thrown off by prices that are many hundreds of dollars more than the provided estimate. To be honest with you, If you had originally quoted me a higher price I probably would have still chosen you because I usually love supporting local businesses. I would also like to add that I have absolutely no negative feedback for the crew, all of whom were helpful and friendly.
