   AnQ removals.

   I engaged AnQ to pack and remove personal items (6 boxes) from London to Belfast. The packers and removals people were excellent, quick, careful and neat. Management however was very poor. I was not kept in touch with changes in timings. When no-one arrived at the agreed time of 5pm, I phoned and David assured me they would be with me in half an hour. They had still not come at 6pm. I phoned again, and was told that the office was closed. David had left me with no information and no means of contacting him to find out when the packers would arrive. This caused me serious inconvenience and so I could not recommend AnQ to other clients. Evelyn Mullally.

   DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

   Worst and most rude people I've ever had to deal with. It starts with them being really nice when you're searching for a quote, and they come in really cheap so that you bite. Then the nightmare starts! I had a removal booked with them for a Monday. They called me on Saturday morning to 'check that my contents had not change since the video I sent them showing everything that had to be moved'. I said it hadn't changed, but since I had at that point packed everything, I did another video of all the boxes that had to be taken with us. And right after that I was called by one of their guys saying that my move would now cost £200 more!!! as whomever had put together the quote had made a mistake. Now, instead of a medium van and 2 guys, we needed a big van and 3 guys. I was not able to go and find another removals company at that point since it was Saturday night and we were moving on Monday. So we regrettably accepted the price increase as had no options. Monday arrived and they 3 guys arrived. What can I say, from no having the right materials to help us move (no bubble wrap for instance), to damaging the walls of my property when taking things out, not treating my belonging with the required care, etc. Then they hit me with, 'although you paid for dissembling the bed, now we also need to charge you for disassembling a small wardrobe, £180 that'll be!!!! The wardrobe is £150.... I had explicitly said on my video that the wardrobe had to come with us - but since I didn't say the words 'disassemble' apparently they didn't know that was required! But of course, they are professionals who have done this for a long time!! Right! When I tried to challenge this, yet again, price increase by talking on the phone with 'Customer Relations', someone else who had been listening to our conversation, named Tony, jumped on the call and said that if I carried on challenging the price and telling them about the shortcomings of their job, he would instruct the team to unload the van and leave my family and all our belongings there without moving!!! That message was delivered in the most rude manner with the intention to intimidate me and force my hand to pay them the additional £180 for dissembling the small wardrobe. We had to go ahead and pay again. A lot of tears and upset feelings after that, we have moved into our new home and we love it. But that chapter is something I really want to forget. Don't get into a contract with these people; they are disrespectful and will only take more and more money with every step of the process.

   Terrible.

   Please avoid! Removal booked for Sunday morning, they did not show up! No contact, I had to reschedule which cost me time & money! Plus they also damaged a delicate item. But quick to make contact for the payment on the adjusted removal day! Please Avoid, yes they may seem cheap, but save yourself the stress and hassle. If I could give zero stars I would!
