   Very Dishonest Company - DO NOT USE

   In the month of January of 2022 we were selling our home and buying another one at the same time, once we new when the closing date was I requested an moving estimate from different moving companies. I did received a few and even cheaper than Richard Beattie Enterprises Inc. however I decided to go with Richard because he was the only one that actually came to the house and that was on January 21st, 2022. The estimate was for $1,995.00 + $195.00 for fuel for a total of $2,190.00. Now since the closing was set for January 31st and we had to clear the house we sold on the 29th Mr. Richard and I agree for pickup date of the 29th and delivery on February 1, 2022. On the day of the delivery I went to pay and they wanted to charge me $2,541.80 not what we agree to but they added $200.00 for overnight hold and $151.80 for paying with a credit card. I argue the $200 which he did removed and I pay $2,341.80. Now in top of all that, on the delivery the movers broke a few items of our in which I sent pictures to Mr. Beattie and he texted me back "someone will be out the first of the week to take care of this, that was on February 4, 2022 and here we are April 5, 2022 and nothing. I retired from the US Army 2 years ago after 22 years of service and in all the moves we did we never had an issue like this one. On April 5, 2022 I files a complaint with the BBB, Mr. Beattie response on April 8th was: MR RAMOS NEEDS TO CONTACT THE OFFICE FOR A CLAIM FORM AND WE WILL BE ABLE TO GET SOMEONE OUT TO GET HIM TAKEN CARE OF.TELL HIM TO CALL 321/863/0478 AND ASK FOR ONE: and I did they claim that they sent me an email with a claim form but is a total lie. Don't use their service. The attached pictures are only 2 of 19.

   Do Not Use - Very dishonest company!

   I used Beattie's Moving and Storage to move my household goods in the Orlando area. The move consisted of 10 miles. The owner sold me a service, then moved my household items. There was several items damaged to which he said he was not responsible and I had purchased the insurance coverage. After much debate, he now says I had a deductible which I never asked for, was told or signed for. Still do not have a resolution and its has been over 1 month since the move. Awful company, dishonest people. Stay away or you will be sorry!
