   My experience.

   I called or emailed 4 movers for estimates. One call ended up with voice mail. Another call required me to leave my name and number as the person I needed to speak with was not available for the estimate. One estimate was by email and the last was Campbell movers which went very well from the start. These guys are great to work with. Bill Campbell (owner) answered the phone him self when I called to get an estimate. He was very easy to work with and made many helpfull suggestions to make the move go smoothly and cut my cost. Bill and I spoke on the phone and his estimate was actually a little higher than what the real price was. That could be due to the suggestions he made and work we did getting ready for moving day. 3 very freindly guys showed up exactly when they were supposed to and got right to work. With 4 flights of stairs and lots of boxes of books this was not an easy move. They had the house empty and packed on the truck in no time. The weather was hot and they wouldn't even stop for drinks I offered. The movers were in a good mood all day and always asked questions when they needed to. Very easy to work with, great team. They didn't stop for lunch, worked straight through. The move took about 5.5 hours. No damaged items. Great care taken here. Because I was paying by the hour for a 3 man team I did not want to waste time wrapping up every item like it was Grandma's treasure. They took care when needed and did everything I requested. The perfect combination of care and speed. Some small marks on a couple of walls and one curtain pulled down on a stairway landing. This happened while moving a monster piece around a tight corner. This house had very narrow stairs and I would have expected more damage had I moved the stuff myself. I only mention the damage because it happened and I have never moved once with out some walls being bumped or marked. They did a great job. These guys are great and I got exactly what I wanted. A fast easy move by 3 professionals, a nice big truck and at a low price. One of the estimates I got came in at more than twice the price for the same job.

   Poor moving and bad management.

   I was only moving an apartment with maybe 7 large pieces of furniture, so this was considered a "small" move. However, not only did the movers put dents in my dry wall, scratch up walls, put rips in my couches, beat up all my furniture (dresser, tables, etc.), but when I reported the damage, the owner mentioned I have waived certain coverage when I NEVER even saw a contract.. I even confirmed with one of their employees that I was never sent a contract, and he said that one isn't typically needed with a "small" move. Boy, was he wrong. This was frustrating as we were moving into our first home, and now we have quite a bit of repair we need to do. I even got charged a minimum of 5 hours when they only spent 3 moving. I wouldn't have minded that, but they were clearly rushing and damaged so much and STILL were paid for 5 hours. If you don't mind getting your furniture and house beat up, lying from their employees, and incorrect and improper responses from the owner in a bad attempt to remedy the situation, feel free to hire them.

   Buyer Beware!!

   BUYER BEWARE!! Unprofessional company; they sometimes use "day laborer" packers (which they did on our job). Told we would see the same people from packing& moving and never saw the same person twice. Items that were fragile were not wrapped at all (glass items) and arrived broken. Sent movers to North Georgia to unload us that were all over the age of 55 years old. Storage was $600 per month and they forgot to charge my credit card for the several months and then decided to charge me $1700 all at one time. Look elsewhere for other moving companies. They charge you a lot of money and you get horrible service!!
