   I can only say that I had a very good experience with Clemmer Moving. I believe my move was a little more challenging than most since I have a lot of very heavy furniture, which includes a baby grand piano and an almost 8' grandfather clock, not to mention a granite buffet top that weighs at least 100 lbs. I can say the men were very caring and careful with my furniture and couldn't have been nicer. If I would ever more again, and believe me I won't if I can help it, I will definitely use Clemmer again.

   Long Distance Move.

   The three movers were ver professional and friendly. They assessed the items to be moved and organized the move quickly and efficiently. There were many boxes,mixed items and furniture to move from a Philadelphia row home. Our contents arrived safely. I would highly recommend Clemmer moving ot anyone1 Highly reliable, fairly priced, and very careful with belongings.

   Lost & Damaged Property.

   Movers were hard workers and got the job done but inevitably there was some damage to a number of items and a couple of missing items. One of these items, a handle to a nightstand, was missing. Clemmer informed us that "movers" do not remove handles so it's not our fault". Although we have searched the internet for a replacement handle none has not been found. Our entire bedroom suite has the style hardware. (22 pieces in total) In addition, we purchased Full Replacement Value insurance for the move. We are extremely disappointed with the situation and have needed to correspond entirely via email as the office staff will not engage in a conversation regarding the claim.

   Clemmer Moving

   This company lost a very large wool rug with pad held in storage following a move from PA to DE. When storage items were delivered, the rug wasn't there.They told me multiple times they would search for it but never called me as promised. I made repeated phone calls but had no success in retrieving my rug. I filed a complaint with Allied for cost but was given pennies on the dollar because Clemmer did not add the rug to the inventory. The person who did the inventory left before 2 rugs were loaded onto the truck. (1 arrived) I have been given the runaround and today had a receptionist rudely hang up on me. This is not my idea of professional service. Additionally, other items were lost in the move costing several hundred dollars to replace. Didn't even bother complaining about that because they just don't care. Of interest, all of the items missing were packed by Clemmer employees. I would give this company a zero if the scale allowed.

   Disastrous Cross-Country Move

   I would rate them lower than 1 star if I could. We have moved cross-county 4 times. I wouldn't recommend this company for a move next door!!! This move was by far the worst in terms of damage to our belongings! We moved from Bucks Co. to Greensboro, GA. with 10 months of storage in their Telford warehouse in-between. I questioned the initial driver on why our furniture wasn't being protected/padded better. His response was will take care of that as we off-load it into our warehouse which was only 20 miles away. That never happened!!! We had 443 moving tags and of these, we filed insurance claims on 57. Just about every piece of furniture we moved received some level of damage. The damage was so severe that the driver who delivered our possessions took pictures of the damage before they even began to unload the trailer. The driver said it looked like our stuff was just thrown in the trailer and there was limited padding placed on our furniture. Where there wasn't padding, there was damage. Our bedroom suite was heavily damaged... the headboard was broken in half! Our two dressers, two night stands and armoire was severely marred. My son's bedroom furniture suffered significant water damage and had to be replaced, I could go on and on.... It took the furniture restoration company over four days to repair what they could, which was only about half of our claim. The remainder was a total loss. Before I filed an insurance claim I reached out to Clemmer to inform them of the damage and they were very indifferent. All they said was just file a claim! If you care about your belongings you should avoid this company at all cost!!!!!!

   Clemmer deliberately UNDERestimates their moves, so they can overcharge you later. And they will not talk on the phone, they will not address your concerns, they simply take the money and run.
