   I never provide reviews...but The Canadian Association of Movers suggested I do this - Trying to achieve a resolution on this matter. We paid Crescent Moving over 18K for a cross-country move. Six months later, we are still trying to see a resolution. A lot of our valuables never showed up - a total value north of 40K, sentimental items, antiques, etc. For the stuff that did show up, there was a lot of damage, furniture, lamps, stereo equipment. The moving day was filled with complete and utter chaos - moving assistants who just dropped stuff whereever they felt was most convenient for them and left a sofa standing up on a 90 degree angle, did not reassemble most disassembled furniture at origin. Broken pieces off of my dresser were placed in a wardrobe and found weeks later. Now the company is dodging us/deflecting resolution. If you have valuables you actually want to see again, don't go with Crescent Moving. I wish I never hired them.A lot of stress and upset, along with sleepless nights. When onsite at your departure location, the sales agent will assess your property and suggest you purchase a premium for coverage in the event of damage and loss. They will look you right in the eye and adviset that you are covered and protected by purchasing replacement cost protection. Then, when you are already upset from the damage and missing items, you submit a claim and everyone in the company sings "silent night". They are unreachable and take zero responsibility. They act as if they never did business with you.

   Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND !

   I cant imagine a moving experience going much worse than this one did. They are fairly attentive up to the point that they insist on full payment up front. From that moment on - nothing. No communication. No response to emails or phone calls. No heads up for a late delivery and when the do finally arrive it is with ZERO notice as apposed to the 24 hour minimum notice they agree to. And when all is said and done they pawn you off to their affiliate companies and shirk any responsibility. RUN!
