   Scam!!

   I hired Diving Moving Group/David & Goliath Moving and was scammed. The Divine Moving Group conned me in to believing they are a moving company. Rickey Paige is who booked the move. Rickey told me Diving Moving Group would be moving my belongings. Rickey took a deposit of $600.00. Rickey Paige pushed for me to pay in the form of a check. They do that because..they know the check will be cashed before you realize it was a SCAM. I paid by credit card. I did not know this company is a BROKER and the $600.00 is a fee for Divine Moving Group. They pocket $600.00 as a fee for finding a moving company. I was not aware of any of this until the middle of the move. David and Goliath Moving showed up at our door. They arrived in a Ryder moving truck, had no company logo shirts and the paperwork that was plain. All of this brings up a lot of questions and red flags. I had sent Rickey a detailed list of all the items they would need to load and sent images of all the items. Rickey was fully aware of the size of the load!!Divine Moving Group quoted me $1650 for my out of state move. I was told 4 professional moving guys would show up at 8am. I was told that it would take two hours to load the truck. I was told Divine Moving Group was moving another couple to GA and that was why they could offer me such a great rate. Lie!! The guys( David & Goliath Moving) arrived 3 hours late and there were 3 guys and not 4. They started loading immediately and were not respectful of our belongings. My husband walked outside to find.. our NEW sofa that has a wooden back face down (not on its legs) on bare concrete. When my husband pointed out the scratch that David & Goliath Moving had put on our NEW sofa..the mover replied that can be fixed with a furniture marker. They also did the same thing with a new wooden table. I have included a picture. I will have to get wood filler and a stain to try to fix the chips in my table. Ridiculous moving errors big time and such a low class company. My husband was the one who was dealing with David & Goliath Moving. He wasn't aware of some of the details that Divine Moving Group had given me. Both companies immediately pulled the old "bait and switch" on us once they had most of our stuff in the truck. My husband called me and said the movers said they needed a bigger truck and another guy. The quote went up to $2300.00. I started to get an uneasy feeling the minute they showed up. Call it a gut feeling. The numbers almost doubled, the company did not appear to be successful or professional and the movers were not moving our furniture with any respect. The big red flag was when.. the movers told my husband they were going to load our stuff and deliver it in a few days. I did not agree to this with Devine Moving Group. I was told my stuff would be moved the same day. I looked up David & Goliath Moving and saw very bad reviews 2.5 out of 5 average. I saw reviews from people who never recieved their belongings, were told their belongings got LOST, some people received other people's belongings and a few people actually received stuff and most of it was highly damaged furniture. I had a feeling if our stuff left our house we would NEVER see it again!!I told my husband (who had been dealing with these idiots from 11am-7pm) Keep in mind most of the day was spent waiting for a second truck. The guys sat in the Ryder truck (drinking sodas my husband gave them) and talking on their phones. After seeing the horrific reviews we told them if they could NOT deliver our stuff TONIGHT we were backing out. Eli ( the manager) and his crew demanded $1500.00 cash to unload our furniture and held it HOSTAGE. My husband called the police who reviewed the crooked contract from both Devine Moving Group and David & Goliath Moving. The well written and crooked contract states that once the furniture is on the truck..for liability reasons (yeah right) the customer could not go on the truck for any reason. The police said it was a civil court situation. Karma does return when one of the movers is arrested for an outstanding warrant. Trust me ELI knows what he can and can't do!! We had already paid a $600.00 deposit and now ELI is demanding $1500.00 more (CASH) We negotiated a deal with this criminal company for $500.00 to unload. Our furniture never left our driveway and will cost us a TOTAL of $1100 (deposit- $600.00 and unload $500.00) Eli told his guys to dump our furniture in our driveway. My husband heard him say it over a phone conversation. Eli knows his SCAM and had the nerve to tell my husband to call the cops. That tells me he's been down this road many times and knows his scam very well. It took the guys 1 hour to unload at an average of $250.00 an hour for x2. The company got an F on the BBB and is a total scam!! Do not do business with these people. Thank god we saw the BAD reviews before our stuff was taken away. They steal stuff and then offer 06 cents on the dollar to replace the so callled lost items. . Keep away from small movers like this and if the quote sounds too good to be TRUE then.. it is!! Highest Rated Never Left The Driveway Jul 29, 2017 Cost: $1,100 Interstate move from Georgia to Florida I hired Diving Moving Group/ David & Goliath Moving and was scammed!! Divine Moving Group out of FL conned me into believing they were a moving company. They are a BROKER and lie to get a deposit/fee and send a local crappy company. I looked up the company and saw very bad reviews from people who never recieved their belongings, were told they got lost, people who recieved other people's belongings and or revived highly damaged belongings. I had a feeling if our stuff left we would never see most of it again. My husband then called the police and could see we were dealing with criminals. The contract states that once the furniture is on the truck.. for liability reasons we could not go on the truck. We could not unload it and they demanded a ridiculous amount to unload. The police said it was a civil court situation. Keep in mind we already paid $600.00 that was supposed to be deducted from the total of the move. Eli the manager of this company is now demanding we pay $1500.00 to have his guys unload furniture that never left our driveway. He told his guys to dump our furniture in our driveway. We ended up paying $500.00 for the furniture to be unload. It took them 1 hour to unload at an average of $250.00 and hour for two guys.Wow.. they must be giving us a white glove service at that rate or are a bunch of criminals. One of the guys had a warrant and got arrested!!KARMA and if I wanted to hire these type of works I could have gone to the local jail. It was a total nightmare and waste of time and money. So, we paid $1100.00 for basically nothing. The company got an F on the BBB and is a total scam. Do not do business with these people!!Thank god we saw the reviews before our stuff was taken away.    What a scam!! We hired another company and they contracted with this local scamming company. We had a contract but D&G would not honor it. They wanted more money and they wanted cash and they wanted the entire amount before they loaded. They threatened me and wouldn't leave. This company should not be in business.

   Please save yourself the worst days of your life! Total scam!! Pick-up foreman received cash from me and reported that he received way less. Dont ever sign blank documents because that is what he used to write that he received less. I ended paying more than double my initial estimate.

   Fraud, scam, steal and break items!!

   David and Goliath Moving / EZ moving Van Line seems to use terms and “tricks” to scam customers without any reliability or accountability. And the terms they are use whenever convenience to them, but what about the violation of the terms of the agreement from EZ Moving provided in contract? Again the movers did not use blankets to wrap most of the items and in results caused damage. And they charged extra fee for labor and wrap (which estimate in contract STATED included). And they EZ moving have done nothing so far to rectify situation even though I had contact them since May 26 regarding the grossly mistaken weight and all other unreasonable fees!? They kept buying time until the mover was physically here and held my property in HOSTAGE demanding payment before they open truck! As the truck opened I was shocked to see the “things” all cramped and stacked on each other like a garbage truck. And the contract listed that service included blanket wrapping of all furniture. But all of the metal furniture articles were not wrapped and they ALL got some degree of damage, dent and bents with scratches. Not to mention a framed art work, all glass shuttered and frames are broken with damaged image!! The sculptured mirror was also broken! All boxes were crushed out of shape (even though marked “Fragile”)! Also, there is missing item which they still haven't responded to my request of the re-delivery date.And I just found out mover’s name DAVID AND GOLIATH MOVING they are contracting with and work together to scam, steal and break other people’s property and pulling the same trick after I looked them up. They should never be allowed to be registered as legitimate moving “service” company. These people set up business just go after people’s valuables and money without providing proper service. Please look up the moving company DAVID AND GOLIATH MOVING and they did the same dirty trick to other customers along with EZ moving.

   Do Not Use David and Goliath.

   Worst experience ever. David and Goliath "lost" (they definitely stole it) one of my items. When they delivered everything they were not even going to tell me about it. When I asked point blank, they gave me the run around and said they thought customer service told me. The item was valued at $1,500 and they only offered me $70 to replace it. When I sent a letter for arbitration, which is legally binding, they completely ignored it and I proceeding with small claims court. The customer service is unhelpful and un cooperative. It seems like every week they are "on vacation" and I am never able to get in touch with them. This process has been going on for 7 months and I feel like I will never see the end.

   Shady Horrible Company.

   I've been dealing with Eli Davis a so called manager who is so unprofessional and a bully!! He threatened me to pay within 30mins and lied about the driver being at our house and is now trying to charge us more money than our quote states. Even after telling the FL FMSCA that all we owed to get our items was our final amount of our estimate but is still trying to get us to pay an additional $1000+!! Now if we pick up our items he wants MORE MONEY. I will never again use this company or Ez MovingVan Lines who apparently chose David & Goliath . Both of these companies are horrible and shady and thieves .. I've never in my life dealt with such crooked people .DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR EZ MOVING VAN LINES .THEY ARE WORKING TOGETHER TO RIP PEOPLE OFF !! Eli won't even state he works for David &Goliath. The amount of nonesense I've dealt with since EASTER when they picked up my items is insane. They left half our items and somehow we magically still came out at our max weight . Yet I've never seen proof of the weight like I was told .

   David & Goliath Moving.

   I moved across state lines, they did not deliver my possessions on time, they did not honor their quote, would not deliver unless you had cash or money order. They stole jewelry, electronic items, tools, and destroyed multiple dressers, corner cabinet, gas grill, metal filing cabinets, outdoor patio was missing the legs. The worst part was they re-packaged items that they damaged or stole and put some of them in new boxes. I am going to file a police report and contact the attorney generals in my state and Georgia. I will file a damaged and stolen report, but do not expect any resolution from this company. I contracted with Alpine Moving, their truck broke down and they called David & Goliath without my knowledge. I would not recommend or even think about contacting with this company for any of your moving requirements.

   Worst Experience Ever!

   They charged us double the original quote once they had all of our possessions on their trucks. They failed to inform us that only cash was excepted upon delivery. They loaded things they were told not to load and didn't load a lot that they should have. My wife's jewelry box for one (they were told not to load). I now have several thousands of dollars in jewelry missing. My husband has tools missing. DVD players and surround sound system is missing. They company doesn't do well at all on working with us on replacing missing items. I have actually filed a police report and filed a complaint with the BBB. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

   Terrible - do Not Use.

   DO NOT USE. Stolen TV, broken lamps and dishes everywhere. I moved out of state from a 600 sq ft apartment. They took nearly 6 hours to move my tiny 1 bedroom place. They stored my things in storage for 30 days, and then shipped it all to my new residence. When my things arrived, strangely enough, everything but my plasma tv was there. That was "probably still in the warehouse." They also broke both my lamps, and numerous dishes. I filed a claim for my tv, and after 4 months of back and forth, I was awarded $64 dollars. Their standard insurance is .6 per pound per article, which means that a $700 tv becomes $64. The guys who picked up my belongings did a terrible job, they came with no tools and took twice as long as quoted. They pressured for a tip, and when I didn't leave them one, my tv went missing. I am filing a complaint with the BBB as well, please save yourself the headache and hire a legitimate moving company.

    We hired David and Goliath movers for our move from Cincinnati to Atlanta . It was on a reccomendation from our previous mover . I regret not having done a bit more research about them . 1. Our boxes were damaged ( soggy , one was torn from all four sides ) 2.they charged us extra for stairs which we later came to know was already included in the contract . 3. One suitcase is still missing . They keep saying that they are going to deliver it but till now I have'nt received it .
