   For a move that was very costly and complicated, I hired Elevated Moving Experts. My coordinator kept in touch with me throughout the entire process. It was a nice experience, and everything went smoothly from the very beginning to the end of the process, which even felt like there was no stress involved at all.

   The movers were dependable, timely, and professional. They did my whole move with packing for a two-bedroom house in a day. Technically resting for twenty-four hours after such a feat is an incredible accomplishment.

   Multiplicity of LIES obfuscating felony theft:

   My equipment was initially taken to Miami (a hub?) from residence in SE central FL. At Miami my equipment was subcontracted to another mover of THEIR choice. Down payment was made, with the remainder due upon delivery, which was to be mid-summer. We heard nothing, since. Upon inquiry, we heard that my equipment was in Miami being prepared for shipment to residence in mid-west. We received 'progress dates' which never materialized. Eventually, one of my people insisted on recovering my stuff into his hands from this subcontracted mover. A series of exchanges meetings were responded to, each one falling through via lies -he'd be at the lot to release our materials, but NEVER showed up. My assistant was even given a picture of the truck in the lot where my shipment was being held! The story goes that he had to give proof to the lot owner that he, in fact, owned the truck but, somehow, he was NEVER ABLE to furnish that proof. To date we've NEVER BEEN ABLE to get my shipment back into our possession -it "continues" to languish, at this moment, in a Miami lot! There should be NO STARS given for this crime!!!!!!!

   Horrible Experience to Share

   In August 2026, we had to move from Jacksonville Florida. We were quoted a very low amount of money to move us 2 hours away. We had to put down $800. We then consequently had to change our date of the move. It just happened that it was within 5 days of the original move date. Therefore I had to pay $ $250 to secure a new date. That had to be Zelled immediately along with a new contract. Then several days prior to our new move date, we were contacted again to review the inventory quote. We were told that it was not a good estimate the first time around and that we needed a larger truck with more cubic feet. So in order to reserve this truck we had to pay an additional $200. So the day before our schedule move, we were contacted by their subcontracted moving company Eli moving and storage out of Pompano Beach, Florida. First of all, we did not know that Elevated Moving Experts was a broker. We live in a full disclosure state. The only disclosure we found out was a very small print on the contract. Nothing was told to us otherwise. Anyway, they let us know that they could not make our move date because one of their workers was out sick. Then they asked us if we could do the next morning, a Saturday. We were not offered a refund of the $250 we paid when we moved the date several days prior to the first date. So they showed up on that Saturday, August 22. Immediately the Foreman let us know that we had more inventory than he expected so they raised us another $4,400. This was on top of the 800 I already paid. Not to mention the $200 and $250 that were additional. We were also told that we were responsible for paying packing materials. And lastly, they did not understand why we had to pay for a larger cubic foot truck when they only had one truck. That was plenty big enough at 2000 cubic feet. So we have requested the refunds of the $200 and the $250 from elevated. We have not received a response nor have a received any refund. So I just want to caution anyone that's considering using this shady company. Shame on you.

   Bait and Switch

   In June 2026, Elevated estimated approximately $1,800 for 270 cubic feet for an 845-mile move scheduled for July 30. On July 21, I emailed and called with a revised inventory and dimensions for my large items. Despite multiple contacts, Elevated did not review it until July 28, two days before the move. Its QA representative then increased the estimate to $2,893.90 for 474 cubic feet. Because I had already paid a $950 deposit, I felt pressured to accept the increase rather than lose it. I disclosed that I would transport a toaster oven and other large items that would not fit in medium boxes. Elevated approved them provided they contained no flammable materials. However, United Prime Van Lines (contracted) rejected them because they were not boxed and offered to pack them in $75 boxes. I declined and rearranged my belongings, removing at least as much volume as I added. After loading, the carrier stated that the shipment required approximately 800 cubic feet and would cost approximately $3,600. Elevated attributed this to stackability, despite receiving dimensions and fully disassembling my desk. When I objected, I was told to proceed or cancel, pay a cancellation fee of approximately $1,000 or more, and forfeit my deposit. I was also instructed to make Venmo payments in $500 increments to avoid automated security flags. At delivery, I was charged $300 after the movers estimated that the truck was more than 300 feet from my home; I measured it at 225 feet. I suggested a route involving 15 stairs, but the movers defined a flight as seven steps, causing the stairs to count as three chargeable units. This appeared intended to maximize the charge. I ultimately paid close to $4,000 for a move initially estimated at $1,800. My bench and vacuum sustained dents, my standing-desk motor was damaged, and critical bed-frame pieces are missing.

   We’re sorry that you were dissatisfied with your experience, but your review itself confirms why the final price differed from the original estimate. Your initial estimate of approximately $1,800 was based on 270 cubic feet and the inventory originally provided to us. As you acknowledged, you subsequently provided a revised inventory, which increased the estimated volume to 474 cubic feet. Once the shipment was physically evaluated and loaded on moving day, the carrier determined that the actual shipment occupied approximately 800 cubic feet. That is nearly three times the volume upon which the original $1,800 estimate was based. Unfortunately, we cannot transport substantially more inventory and use substantially more truck space for the price originally calculated for 270 cubic feet. Revised estimates are not intended to penalize customers; they account for additional inventory, space, packing, and services actually required to complete the move. When you booked you said you would not have more than 15 boxes. During quality assurance you had 31 and were still packing. We would also like to clarify the long-carry charge. Our agreement discloses that the truck must be able to park within approximately 75 feet of the residence before additional long-carry charges may apply. By your own measurement in this review, the crew had to carry your belongings approximately 225 feet. That is substantially beyond the included distance and requires considerably more time and physical labor from the moving crew. Long-carry charges are standard within the moving industry and are not unique to Elevated Moving Experts. We understand that nobody wants their final moving cost to exceed their original estimate. However, an estimate based on 270 cubic feet cannot reasonably remain unchanged when the shipment presented ultimately requires approximately 800 cubic feet and the delivery involves a carry of more than 200 feet. Regarding your reported damaged or missing items, we are sorry to hear about those concerns. Damage and loss allegations should be documented and submitted through the appropriate claims process so they can be properly investigated and compensation determined under the applicable valuation coverage. We respect your right to share your experience, but we also believe prospective customers deserve the complete context. The price did not simply increase from $1,800 to approximately $4,000 for the same 270-cubic-foot move. So this is not a bait and switch. The inventory and actual shipment volume increased substantially, and the delivery location required a long carry well beyond the distance included in the original service.

    the driver backed into the porch dormer of my roof causing $1420 damage. They acted like they would take responsibility, after four months of emails text and phone calls with their practice answer of how sorry they are and appreciating my patience: Our team is doing everything they can to resolve thus. Nothing, lies, deception, all they care about is profit, no respect for the customer. Be very careful if you hire them

However, we do believe it is important to update the record regarding the resolution of your claim. You reported approximately $1,420 in property damage, and we have refunded you $1,400 toward that damage. While there were delays involved in resolving the property-damage matter, our communications stating that we were working toward a resolution were not “lies” or “deception.” We continued addressing the matter and ultimately provided compensation covering nearly the entire amount you reported. We understand that waiting for a resolution was frustrating, and for that we sincerely apologize. However, saying that our company did “nothing” or only cares about profit does not accurately reflect the outcome. We took your complaint seriously, continued working on it, and ultimately issued $1,400 in compensation. We appreciate your business and regret that the damage occurred in the first place. We hope you will consider updating your review to reflect that the matter has now been resolved and that compensation was provided.
