I would recommend this moving company 100%. The Packers were very professional and very careful about packing my stuff up. I had some very precious stuff and they took their time. Loading up the 18 wheeler was tedious, but they were very patient. They loaded everything that we asked them to load. They were on time delivering the first load to my destination and on delivering it to the storage. They were very tedious and careful about unloading and loading into the storage units 100% satisfied with everything y’all did for us.

    Great international movers to Australia

It was an amazing, stress-free experience working with Humboldt Movers. We had to do our move remotely due to Covid, and the communication and timeliness of Humboldt's work was exceptional. From all accounts (my sister helped pack),the movers on site were incredibly professional, efficient, and careful with our goods. Even though the Suez got blocked and global shipments delayed during our move, our 20' container came within weeks of the original schedule. Customs was a breeze thanks to the careful inventorying of the movers. I highly recommend Humboldt with their very personalised communication and attention if you are moving international to Australia. Thank you Steve.

    Find another Moving Company.

Look elsewhere, do yourself a favor.   They moved my 86 year old father from one assisted living facility in Andover MA to another facility near Charleston, South Carolina. Sales guy was very thorough and friendly, but that's where their service ENDS! They assigned us a move coordinator, so you think that you are in good hands. A JOKE, and a bad one. This guy never returns calls. So he called me when they were packing up in Andover, MA (they were on time and good packers) and asked if the containers were there. I told him no, and he said he will look into why not and get back to me. He does not call back that day. I call him the next day and he apologizes for not getting back to me, and then tells me that the truck had broken down and they were loading the containers in the yard right now. He said he would check on it and call me back right away. He did not call me back at all. My dad’s furniture was to be delivered to South Carolina on Wednesday 8/20/14, 6 days after packing. Seemed OK, but was hoping for sooner. The move coordinator is supposed to call the day before scheduled delivery to provide a two hour delivery window. Did not hear from him, so called him late Tuesday 8/19/14 and he informed us that there was a delay and hopefully it would be their Friday, but most likely Monday. Furious to say the least as there are so many more details that it will take an hour to write. We had to call him? So, Thursday 8/21/14 at 4:30 PM we get a call that the furniture will be delivered Friday 8/22/14 morning between 8:30 and 10:30. 10:30 comes and nothing, so we call the move coordinator and he tells us it’s on its way. SURE? Around 11:30 he calls to ask us how it's going and we inform him that no one has showed up. He said he will get right back to us. SURE? Meanwhile we are stressing, called him a few times and into voice mail we go. Finally, about 2:00, they show up. Their company slogan is relax and get moving, and every email you receive from them tells you no stress, etc. As mentioned, save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. They missed delivery by two days. They NEVER return phone calls, and overall the worst moving experience I have ever had.  .

Avoid Humbolt Moving / United - Canton, MA

Avoid Armstrong Relocation (Canton, MA). My interstate move exposed serious failures in accountability and documentation. Armstrong promised a single‑truck move, then switched to two trucks at the last minute. The truck that delivered my belongings was not the truck that packed them, and Armstrong provided no transfer logs, no chain‑of‑custody records, and no warehouse documentation. Several items never arrived. Inventory sheets contained mismatched tags — including Mayflower‑branded stickers — despite Armstrong claiming no Mayflower involvement. Their own evaluator confirmed $4,648.99 in mover‑caused damage, yet Armstrong/United tried to pay $2,020 with no explanation. Full‑value protection was useless, the insurer ignored evidence, and a hand‑delivered letter to Armstrong’s CEO received no response. Arbitration didn’t address missing items, the truck transfer, or the contradictory paperwork. If you value your belongings, choose another mover.
