   Highly Recommended!

   Overall great experience! I highly recommend them!! CON: * Wasn't easy getting an "official" quote I felt comfortable showing my employer for reimbursements. But after I made that clear, Henrietta wrote up a contract for me to use. PROS: * The guys were VERY professional and courteous. * They padded and shrink wrapped EVERYTHING. Our items were well taken care of * There was only one piece of damage and they pointed it out on the unload. A wooden leg that was already soggy had gotten worse in the hot trailer. * They stuck to their commitments with me! Timeline AND price. * They moved me from TX to OH with 1 weeks notice and was $1,000 dollars cheaper than the big moving companies * The move was dedicated. We didn't share trailer space with anyone else. CONSIDERATIONS: They not have as much presence and professionalism in terms of marketing, but give them a chance!! I have heard all sorts of horror stories about big moving companies and ICANN was as smooth as possible! I wish they had an office in OH so I could use them in the future. I don't like writing reviews but felt compelled to leave one for them!

   The only reason the truck was late was due to unmarked road and recent weather issues; otherwise, we could not have asked for more wonderful service and pleasant response to all the moving needs we had. In addition, the gentlemen assisted in packing rather large and unwieldy objects that most movers would have required be wrapped prior to moving.   Would highly recommend!!  Thank you Elijah, Roland and Elliot. .

   Following our experience with ICANN moving, I must say that I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. For anyone interested in movers, I highly suggest you AVOID this company at all costs. We agreed to hire ICANN to pack our house and move everything into storage. After speaking with the owner, Henrietta, I was told that my house would take one day to pack and less than one day to move. The packers were nice and cordial and I have no major gripe with them, except that it took two days rather than the initially suggested one and the prices were not clearly expressed at the beginning. Each day of packing cost us over $3,000.00. While this was a surprise for us, we were willing to move forward with it given the packers did well. My major issues began with the moving day. They showed up almost 2.5 hours late. The movers were NOT PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED. They said it would only take them “a few hours” and a truck load or two to move everything based on what they saw during the initial walkthrough - it ended up taking OVER 16 HOURS and three truck loads to move into a storage unit 15 minutes across town. We also had to help and load things into our own vehicle and unload in the storage unit to help the team. The movers damaged the house on their way out, broke and damaged our property, and did not properly wrap furniture (one mover even exclaimed, “f*** this, I’m not wrapping anything else!”) They left trash at both properties, SMOKED CIGARETTES INSIDE, and missed several pieces which resulted in more time and trips. The DAMAGES AND DESTRUCTION to our property we were able to see (due to most of our property being wrapped or packed in storage) surpassed $2,000.00. Once the movers arrived to the storage unit with their final load at around 2:00 AM, they demanded we pay the over $3,000.00 balance in full before they could unload. We asked to speak with the owner and, over the phone, she told us she would be taking our property if we did not pay right then and there. We asked if she would call us in the morning to discuss the issues before we paid, but she refused. We needed to pay before she would discuss further. So, after paying over $10,000.00 at this point, the owner called us the next morning and said the “best she could do” was pay us back $300.00 for the damages. We asked her to reconsider given the situation and she said she would get back with us that afternoon. Two days later, after multiple messages that were essentially ignored, she finally got back to us and said there was nothing she could do because her guys “did the work.” She backpedaled her original $300.00 credit and said that the job was complete, despite the multiple issues. I m highly disappointed. ICANN Moving should be avoided at all costs due to their negligence, unprofessionalism, and failure to communicate. This company damaged property, some of which is broken beyond repair, and we were not even given a simple “sorry. At the end of the day, if I am paying premium prices, I expect premium service. I will never use this company again and if anyone in my circle asks for moving company recommendations, you better believe I will tell them to not use ICANN Moving.

   Moving was a total disaster.

   This was a total nightmare when the job was finished. My furniture was scratched, torn, dented. Not to mention some of the furniture such as antique treadle sewing machine and two recliners were left on driveway of old home and rained on. Would not recommend this company at all to anyone. No tools in truck nor enough covers to protect furniture. Kay B.
