   This company is a scam - run far away

   Legacy Moving Group told significant lies to get me to pay a deposit. The sales rep told me that his company owned the moving truck and crew that would be picking up my items. My items were supposed to be moved from point A to point B on the same truck. After I signed the contract and paid a massive deposit, they turned around and sold my contract to another moving company! This new company had an F rating with the BBB, and their plan was to move my items to a warehouse, keep them in storage for weeks, and then move them to my new location - a totally different plan from what the sales rep told me. This new plan was not at all acceptable, so I canceled my contract, but Legacy has refused to refund my deposit, despite the fact that they blatantly lied in order to get me to pay it. Moving is a stressful time, and these heartless fiends will take advantage of you in your most vulnerable state, telling you lies to get you to pay a deposit, and then screwing you once they have your money.

   Useless company!

   We hired legacy moving company to move our luggage from Florida to Arizona, it took two full months for them to ship!these stupid people lost two extra large boxes, in which we had all the kitchen items, and valuables too, this company is not responding to those missing boxes, we even have a document written by the driver who delivered the shipment to us saying the same but they did not take any action! Horrible service!! Maybe its cheap at cost but please remember its even more cheap at its service!

   Very Disappointed, dishonest company

   When the movers arrived they told me it was going to be another 2,500, which would’ve been over 5,000. I explained I didn’t have that kind of money. He then went out and came back and said he found some discounts and it was now going to be over 4,000. Again, I told him it was beyond my budget. He then asked my budget and I told him 3,000. I told the man I didn’t understand as I did the inventory over the phone with 2 different people. I had 2 units and the one unit less then half of it was being moved and the rest was being donated. This is when the man told me I shouldn’t use a broker because they don’t come out to look at what your moving. When I told them I couldnt afford the new price and would have to decline. At this point the man said let me talk to my partner and we could come back on Tuesday and you could rent a Uhaul and we can move it for 3.000 off the books. I turned them away at this point. I called and left a message and the next day Chris Hale called me. He said because I turned them away he could not give me back my deposit. He said I should’ve called when they were there. When I asked the driver about calling someone about the higher cost he said well it’s Sunday nobody will be available. So after they left I called and left a message and even though Chris said they have someone available I did not receive a call until the next day. I was then told that he’s never heard of anyone offering to do a move off the books. Well, I can assure you it happened and my 13 year old daughter even said to the man sir that is so kind of you to want to help our family. I hated to tell her after they left that he was being dishonest. I received an email from Chris stating for my poor experience he could offer me 30% of my deposit back. In my opinion it was way more then a poor experience and with it being me and my 2 daughters it turned into an uncomfortable situation.

   Worse Experience EVER!!!

   Worst moving broker ever!!!! They don’t care about you or your items, just getting paid. They gave us a low quote and we ended up paying almost $10,000 more when the moving company showed up. They didn’t include bulk fees, they under estimated our housing good weigh, they were not available when we needed them, they promised a reimbursement for their neglect and we never received any kind of refund. A lot of our items where severely damaged or missing. We are a military family and have done several moves, this being our first the military didn’t not pay for, and it was the worst experience ever. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
