Great move
We used McWilliams to move from Peterborough to Ottawa. Great choice. The only company who would come to.the house to do a quote and give advice about packing. The crew we had were excellent. We are very happy

Never use again.
Be very careful using the Company. Certainly taking advantage of paperwork being done remotely. We got shocked with an additional $1,100 added to our bill - for insurance we didn't even know we got. It wasn't on the quote that we accepted verbally and by email. Dealing with the Owner? His response - although you make very good points - we can't help you. When we tried to follow up - they stopped responding. If you decide to deal with them and they try and encourage you to take this insurance - check your currently policies - everything they offered was covered under our house insurance. There was no way we would have purchased this. So much for integrity and standing behind their reputation. Customer service fail...Will never use them again.

Worst moving company ever
I used McWilliams from Peterborough Ontario pick up was fine then everything went wrong I was accused of my credit card not being any good but what really happened is McWilliams tried taking the money more than once, in my world that’s fraud then they proceeded to smash my furniture I swear to god into pieces I believe because it was going into storage and I couldn’t be there because of Quarantining due to Covid. They charged us almost ten thousand dollars, smashed my furniture then tried to say have a good day. Please do not trust them I don’t want want happened to me to happen to anyone else. Also it forced me to enter a rate that’s the only reason they got a one I don’t think they even deserve that
