   Fantastic Company - Very Professional Service.

   Mid Cheshire Removals moved my entire house contents from Cheshire to Northumberland. They were fantastic, I can not fault them one bit. All 3 men worked very hard. I called Andy Hardman after I had some very high priced quotes from other companies. He was the ONLY person who was willing to come to my house on a Saturday to give me a quote. I was more than happy with the price quoted so I went ahead and booked the move for 3 week ahead. On the day they arrived on time and all items were loaded up very quickly and carefully, the same can be said for unloading at new house. It was a red hot day but they never stopped working. The 4 hour journey was completed on time and they were waiting for me at the new house. All items were then put in the rooms of my choice. I paid the remaining balance ( there was no "hidden" charges.  All round a fantastic company I would be very happy to use again. Thank you so much for all your hard work. .

   Great Service, Highly Recommended.

   I contacted Midcheshire at very short notice to undertake our removal and spoke with Andy Hardman and from the start he was professional, prompt and friendly. He, together with a colleague, visited the house a couple of days later and provided a formal quotation, which we accepted. On the day of our removal, the team arrived on time and began the packing of all the items and also dismanted beds, removed mirrors etc. They hardly stopped during this time, despite the frequent offers of a cup of tea from us! We have quite a large house and moved to one of a similar size so we needed 2 trips and by my calculation the team from Midcheshire had at least an 11 hour day but right until the end of the day they couldn't do enough for us and were anxious to ensure we had everything reassembled before they left. I would certainly recommend them to any prospective mover, a great service, nice people and a very competitive price.

   Appalling service

   I’m not sure if this company is in business, they certainly shouldn’t be! Unscrupulous company who take your money, damage your goods and then refuses to answer the phone. Bailiffs were sent to recover back what they owed us but of course it’s the wrong address/ name associated so they get away with it. Avoid at all costs

   Definitely avoid.

   Very helpful initially, two of them came and viewed everything that we were moving, there was nothing they didn't see (we didn't have a loft) and I accepted their quoted price without haggling. They dropped off lots of boxes and packing tape (amusingly trying to accommodate lots of large, albeit flat, boxes in a convertible sports car, and repeatedly telling us that we were using 'a lot of boxes') and assured us that they would take down and wrap the pictures and mirrors properly on the day of the move, and were happy to dismantle larger wardrobes etc. However on the day of the move they rushed the work, generally manhandled everything (eg dragging divan bases around on their corners causing permanent dirty marks) and caused a lot of damage to items that cannot be mended (eg they knocked the feet off an antique mirror and smashed the glass in a frame of our wedding photos). The guy in charge seemed permanently stressed. They clearly didn't want to work late to get the job finished properly and they wouldn't dismantle the wardrobes to take them up the stairs in the new house. We had to go on to the new house to open up, and once we arrived we found that they had left items behind which we had to go back and fetch at 6am the following morning. I tried to contact them about the damaged items but have had no reply. Pretty poor service on the day.

   Cowboys.

   Absolutely avoid. I gave list of things and asked guy to come out. No, it's ok, based on list. The sheds are full I advised better to come out, but he didn't. Morning of move, arrived with wrong sized vans, Andy a proper stress head. Very rude. Argumentative. Negative. Stating price would rise by double. They didn't wear over shoes, put anything down to protect floors, or use mattress protectors. They damaged a unit. The damaged new house wall by trying to force a chair in. Another guy was sensible. But from the moment of meeting I knew the firm was CRAP. Website depicted vehicles with company name on; turned up with self drive hire. Overall, not impressed, at all. Advised solicitors who said I should deduct the cost of the van I had to hire and fuel from bill, that the company were at fault.

   Rip off merchant.

   My wife booked mid Cheshire removals. Very nice and convincing on the phone, was very professional with all details, service included dismantling furniture getting stuff down from loft,etc. My wife paid £200 deposit by bank transfer and was promised they would bring boxes, tape & bubble wrap on an agreed date. Nobody ever turned up and now not responding to any calls or emails. Not impressed, absolute scumbag! Avoid this company at all costs!

   Removal failure.

   DO NOT touch this company with a barge pole, they scammed us out of £960, after paying them up front they refused to move us and we are now locked in a legal battle.  We are pensioners one of which is registered disabled. We cannot afford to loose this sort of money, we have tried to contact them many times including emails and registered post, but they have failed to respond. despicable company, do not go near. (The move was from Cheshire to Wales but it would not give us that option).

   Stressful move.

   This company moved us just 2 miles down the road. Andy came to quote & informed us we would have  1 large & 1 small van on the day. They dropped the boxes off in plenty of time with just 1 roll of brown tape & I had to provide the rest which I was told would be reembursed & it hasnt. I spoke to Andy on the day & he denied this & had the audacity to say I must have got mixed up & because they had price matched another company (£20 reduction) that it was acceptable. The guys arrived in one lorry & informed us they would have to make 2 journeys!! (the removal guys worked hard) They had no mattress protectors when we had specifically asked for them as around 90% of our goods were going in to storage. They eventually finished unloading in our new proerty at 6pm & demanded we pay the balance in cash!! They damaged an expensive wardrobe & tried to insinuate it was already damaged!! The wardrobe had been installed proffessionally 6 years earlier & had never been moved until this day. We are now 3 weeks post removal & we are no further on. I would be very wairy of this company & we are thoroughly disappointed.

   Avoid at All Cost!!

   Andy Hardman moved me from Warrington to Winsford on 22 October 2013, he arrived with two other young lads and very quickly loaded the van.  As we had too many things to move Andy said he could store our items for £80 per month in Sandbach.  I was very grateful for this at short notice to store my possessions.  However how wrong was I, I paid the monthly fee into his bank account and then decided it was time to visit the storage company and start moving my things.  When I arrived there I could not gain access to my unit.  I rang Andy Hardman who did not answer his mobile phone nor the landline.  I rang the number at the storage site only to be informed he had not paid the company for 4 months.  I asked how we were going to access my things and they said I couldn't until he had paid the overdue account which had also incurred late penalty charges.  Straight away I tried contacting Andy Hardman regarding the situation.  I was advised to write to him recorded delivery to both the addresses in Winsford and Northwich and give him notice to pay the storage.  He ignored this.  I contacted the storage company again and they said the only way they would release my things was to pay all Andy Hardmans outstanding debt.  They also informed me that he had other storage units with other peoples belongings which he had not paid for either.  Eventually I got to access my things only to find they had been stacked in a poor condition, damaged furniture which had to be take to the tip as was no longer fit for purpose.  I then contacted the police to notify them of the siutation.  I have since registered a claim with the courts to recoup my money I have had to pay to release my things.  Of course Andy Hardman has not responded to this and will soon be issued with a warrant.  At the time of moving he came over very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.  What a con man!  How can he possibly sleep at night.  I have read a lot of these reviews and clearly I am not alone.  I would urge anyone who has stored their furniture in Sandbach to contact them direct as you will not be able to access your things until you have paid his debt.  Please please take this review as gospel do not fall into the same trap that I did.

    Avoid.

    The appointment was made but the firm did not failed to turn up on the booked day. This led to extra cost to book a reputable company. The company now deny knowledge of receiving 50% upfront and will not deal with the query, A great shame as they came on strong recommendation.                                       .
