   HORRIBLE COMPANY

   WARNING….DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could give this company a zero I would!! The nine reviews must be family members! Every single piece of furniture was damaged, EVERY PIECE! Boxes were smashed! My daughters brand new 4000.electric bike was damaged! The Ortiz company was contracted by colonial van lines, so we didn’t even have the opportunity to use or not to use them Our move was from Illinois to Florida. Our belongs were split into two loads, because they don’t know what they are doing. We have so many damages and complaints for me to list. But the end of this nightmare says it all. To get our last load Jose Ortiz tried to extort us! Because of all of the issues, colonial van lines had waived the payment upon arrival. But Jose said to my husband you either pay the balance we’re not going to give you your belongings. But if you sign a waiver that releases us from any and all damages and says that they did a great job, and to write a wonderful review, they would give us our furniture. Of course my husband wrote a review, short and to the point. I am telling you that this company is horrific and if you want your belongings in good condition, do not use them. They are unprofessional and have no clue of how to pack or move. I wish I could include the over 50 pictures of the proof I have! Shame on you Jose! You are a criminal!

   Horrible Company

   If i could give 0 stars i would, this company was assigned to me by my broker, they showed up 4 hours late to gather my items for my move and had no blankets or wraps to cover my furniture. Upon delivery (days late after multiple attempts to schedule with them and a cancelled delivery after i took off work for the day) my items were damaged, dirty and some completely broken beyond repair to the point where they are no longer usable items. I was forced to pay them to unload the items and then told some items were broken. I was given an email address to send the photos of the damaged items for the claims process, not a single person has responded and the owner has blocked my phone number (very professional) while delivering he sat in his truck hiding because so many items were broken. He never apologized or offered any sort of explanation. I have been trying to contact them for a month now with no response. They have been the most unprofessional company I have ever seen in my life. Only communicate via text message or answer a call when they need payment other than that, no response whatsoever. I trusted them to move my items safely and securely and they could not, and take no responsibility for damaging the majority of my items. I don’t know how you even break a cement umbrella holder without intentionally doing so. The list of items broken is extensive and some very expensive items. I just want a response and compensation so this can be over and I never have to deal with them again. Beware of this horrible company and its shady practices.
