   I highly recommend this company. They did a great job. Nothing got broken including my pinball machine. They work extremely hard and no complaints. Did everything I asked and would have done more if I wanted.Alabama (his nickname) was extremely acomidating. I would use them again. The cost was close to the quote.

   Totally satisfied every time.

   I've dealt with them a few times and I have always been pleased. There was a long-distance move and some short-distance ones altogether, and every single time has been great. Recently, they helped me out (this is what prompted me to finally write a review, because I'm so appreciative) and the owner Shawn personally took an interest in assisting me. It didn't get him any money and it used up his time, but he did it anyway. Really, with all of the shady and disreputable moving companies out there, it is in your best interest to at the very least check these guys out. They're awesome!

   Worst Customer Service Ever!!

   I was very disapointed in the service we received from Purely Canadian Movers. The problems began after we had put our items in storage. We were told to call a week before we moved in so that they would give us an exact date and time. Our inital phone calls were not returned.  When we did finally get a hold of him we were told to call back. This went on for several days and were finally given a estitmate of within 3 days of us moving into our place.   We also told them on several occasions to please call us 24hrs before delivery as we would not have internet set up yet. We were told that it would not be a problem and also gave them our new phone number and confiremd twice that they did in fact have the correct information.   We received no phone call but a email which we did not get as we had no internet. The only reason we even knew they were here to deliver was because my boyfriend happened to go downstairs. If he had not been there at that time our stuff would have gone out of province.   From there things only got worse as the two men hired apparently were not actual employees of purely canadian movers just men that were hired to do the job. Both were dressed casually and in an unmarked moving van. The very first item taken off the truck was a bar stool which was smashed into the lobby glass doors in front of me.   In the 3 hours in took them to move the items into our suite we were witnessed to the older gentelmen swearing at the younger man who clearly had never moved items professionaly in his life. We also had to endure the older mans complaiments about how far he had to move our items and the fact that there was no elevator key.   When all was said and done they damaged our tv stand, shoe shelf, and left a big scratch on our wall which will no doubt now come out of our damage deposit. I also found my book shelf covered in what appeared to be black paint or dirt.When we called the company to tell them of the damages we were quickly told to call another number to start a claim. Not even a sorry to hear that comment from the man that we had been personally dealing with for over a month.   All in all I would never suggest this company to anyone ever again. To think that I paid $2500 dollars to listen to a mover complain to me about how far he had to move my items and listen to him swear at the younger man that was helping him. As well to have several of our items damaged and to not even be contacted prior to delivery.    Over the course of the month that we dealt with them we did not receive one single phone call or email from them. We had to personally keep on top of it ourself. Funny because when your providing a service you would think you would want to keep your customers well informed. Considering moving is one of the most stessful and expensive things you will ever do in your life I have to honestly say they made the experience TERRIBLE! .
