   Honest local moving company

   Fair pricing, no scams, everything was moved as promised, no problems at all, I definitely recommend hiring this company for all your moving needs. They successfully moved my 3 bedroom house, and didn't cause a single damage whatsoever. Movers came on time, the truck was clean, and well-equipped. They had all tools and disassembled and assembled all the stuff as needed. I will use them again for my future moves

   Moving Service

   I used Rapid Movers at the beginning of November to move my families home from the Toronto area to Mississauga. From start to finish they did a great job and their estimate was very accurate. very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again if I need to.

   Super impressed with my move.

   I was super happy with the way Rapid Stor handled my move. They arrived on time, movers were experienced and well-equipped. I needed half of my stuff to be stored in their storage, and other half to be moved to my new place. They completed this job flawlessly, nothing was damaged, and I was charged the same amount I was quoted. Movers were wearing masks and gloves.

   These guys were great moving my 4 bedroom house from Mississauga to Brampton. They packed everythimg well into the truck and nothing was damaged as a result of move. The prices were as described, no surprises at all. This is a proper moving company l.

   Last Minute Move.

   Needed a last minute mover as the previous company I was working with did not show up on the day of the move. This company came last minute and completed the move for me. Pricing was the same as promised over the phone and they saved me from a lot of headache. Very satisfied and will keep them in mind in the future!

   Dining Set Delivery.

   Highly recommend this company and I will only be using them for all my moving needs. First Experience: I needed a company to help me pick up boxes for a kitchen at Ikea after they failed to deliver a kitchen as I had my installers coming the next morning. I called at 7:45pm on a Tuesday night and the owner Ross answered. He said he could help me out and was at the store exactly at 8:50pm to pick up the kitchen and deliver it. Second Experience: A month later, I called again. I needed furniture moved the same day. Ross called me back and said he would be able to do it. He arrived and wrapped all the furniture in blankets and delivered it. He's a very nice person, educated and knows how to run a business. I found this company on a google search and glad I did!

   Damaged Furniture

   If I could give 0 stars - I would. We picked RapidStor based off all the positive reviews on Google. When we went to pick up our furniture, we found furniture unwrapped from the plastic, and on top of that - the couch was damaged. We knew for a fact that all the furniture should have been in plastic since we helped the 2 movers RapidStor sent wrap everything. We asked the 2 individuals at the warehouse why the furniture was left unprotected, they couldn't provide an answer. We now have a damaged couch, and dirty mattress. We pointed out the damage to them and was told they would have to go through their insurance to compensate us. They asked us to call them back the next business day and provide the weight. We called, and asked why they needed the weight of the couch vs the value of the couch. We basically got the runaround. They stopped picking up our phone calls and stopped responding to emails.

   WILL DAMAGE YOUR ITEMS AND NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

   AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I booked this moving company for my move on October 31st. My conversations with Ruslan were good prior to booking and he was responsive and confirmed everything. I confirmed with him several times that they blanket wrap all furniture as I would have done it myself if they did not. This was listed as a service but I wanted to confirm. He confirmed by email that yes they do. I thought great, I don’t need to do it. The movers arrived a little late but were nice and worked well; however we did go over our booked elevator time. Because of this, the furniture (which they packed last) was taken to the loading dock and I did not witness it being packed into the truck. When we arrived at our new house they opened the truck and I noticed my 2 month old daughter’s brand new, unused, white crib was packed full of stuff and unwrapped. I was unhappy but was busy and did not express any concern that night. All of our furniture except the TV was unwrapped. They unpacked all our furniture and told us our wardrobe broke. My husband and I were in a good mood and happy to move so we decided not to get upset and to let the wardrobe go. However, the next morning I discovered my daughter’s crib completely ruined. It was scratched, scuffed, and dented. I was very upset by this. Right away I sent pictures and an email to Ruslan and we had to sand and repaint the whole crib. He asked how much it cost to fix and we told him. Unfortunately this did not fix the dents and cost us $75. Ruslan advised me he is mailing out a cheque for the damage. On November 20th I didn’t hear back and didn’t receive anything so I emailed him he said he mailed it out the week prior and will mail it out again. I have not received any cheque to this day. I emailed him on January 8th to follow up and I have not heard back from him. My husband called him last week and Ruslan asked him to call back the next day at 9 am, which we did, however the calls have gone straight to voicemail ever since. I have emailed him 3 times since then and crickets. This is not an acceptable way to do business. I could have, and looking back at it, should have, asked for more money for the broken wardrobe also. I have been a reasonable customer and have given him enough time to repay me for the damage. Honestly, do not book this company because if something goes wrong, you will never hear from them. I feel I am being lied to and I unfortunately just read recent reviews of similar situations. I have emails proving the damage and promises made about sending a cheque but the fact that I’m not getting any response now and Ruslan blocked our number since it makes me realize that was all a sham to get me off their case. **UPDATE** While typing this review this is the email I received from Ruslan. Hello Michelle so I just spoke with the boss and he said your damages or insignificant and you must let them go I’m sorry about that I thought he mailed it out but in fact he never did it because he decided they re insignificant, if you want, I can give his number to you and you can speak with him he will explain you why your damages are insignificant ..... I’m really not sure how they think this is acceptable customer service. If you don’t want your stuff damaged, don’t book them.

   NO ONE SHOWED. UNRELIABLE

   Rus was fantastic over email. Making fairly realistic promises about punctuality, services offered, packing materials etc. Definitely made me feel super comfortable and felt like I had everything prepared for my move for a really good price. The thing they say about don’t fall for things that seem too good to be true? This is it. I should have paid attention to the 0-1 star reviews in this forum. They agreed to meet me at 10 AM since I had the service elevator booked... it’s 10:10 AM, I call Rus.. he asks me who I am and nervously laughs that he doesn’t know who is on shift for my move, and he’s ‘sure they will be there soon’ (even though he has no idea who the movers are). I ask him to please be by his phone for the next hour in case no one calls me and he assures me he will. NO ONE SHOWED OR CALLED. 10:45 AM, I give him another call, half a second ring and he sends me to his mailbox. I call 3 more times, he kept cutting the phone. Lol. Worst service ever (if you can even call it a service). This company should not have the right to call themselves one. Choose wisely folks!

    Abysmal customer service

    Avoid ! This company has not responded at all after breaking in to shards a marble table top. The piece did not even make it off the moving truck. Mackenzie, the lead mover, forwarded a claim document to my email even as we peered in to the caverns of the truck at the detritus of that lovely tabletop. Then .…radio silence. Not even an acknowledgement of receiving the claim or any of the subsequent emails. And to be clear, the pay out for this destroyed piece would not cover the cost of a replacement. The liability rider on the landing page for this company is 60cents per pound to a maximum of $100. Mackenzie, the lead mover, was punctual and hardworking. His coworker was lazy and sullen. The move was arranged on short notice, I paid cash with tip for the service and completed the insurance document and forwarded it 2 days later. There has never been an acknowledgement of any correspondence. I used Tome Movers for my subsequent move out of the storage locker. Please contact them instead of these charlatans. The extra $50 I paid to Tome was the best money I spent .
