   Items were missing

   I have had a bad experience with Removals Zone. The money I paid increased in comparison to the initial quote, as included an extra hour, access to Blackhall tunnel, and a fine which they made me pay immediately, despite it was not my fault. There was a broken van blocking the narrow street. I was told that I would receive the money back after the solicitors appeal to it, but today, after trying to contact the company in three occasions, they have told me they cannot appeal. I also was asked to leave a good review to Krasi just on the spot, in the middle of the move. I even gave them some tips :( After the move I realised that two items were missing, again, in despite of them having an insurance, they don't want to take any responsibility about it, or not even trying to trust customers, or to question their staff's ethics. I feel that someone has taken advantage of an stressful situation. My next step, to report it to the police.

   Appalling customer service - scam alert

   I used Removals Zone for my move 2.5 weeks ago, and the two men who came were very polite and professional. However, 3 items - a monitor and some furniture - were broken/damaged during transport. I immediately provided Removals Zone with pictures and details of the items. Since then, I have emailed and called them numerous times, and each time I am told that the person responsible for claims is unavailable and will call me back. They claim to be fully insured, so I don’t understand why it is taking them so long to resolve this issue, and they seem to be simply ignoring me. I feel as though I have been scammed, but I won’t give up.

   AVOID these THIEFS

   This company will give the worst service, extend a job from 2 to 6 hours just to make more money. They will damage your goods and steal items. Then when you complain, will gaslight like crazy. Save yourself hassle and go with a highly rated more expensive firm.

   Cheap for a reason!

   To be honest, I'm absolutely appalled at the service from this company. We called them to support our move, calling out that we had a large television that needed moving. They said that's fine they'll bring bubble wrap and anything needed. Having paid extra the bubble wrap, the TV arrived broken. We told the company, they claimed it could have been broken prior to the move and denied any wrongdoing. I understand mistakes happen, but the nature with which they dealt with it was astounding. They are cheap for a reason, and i would seriously caution anyone looking to move anything of value to go elsewhere. When you add in the cost of replacing the items they've transported, it's an expensive day!!!

   Unreliable and bad post sale customer service

   They cancelled the appointment with 1 day notice and I ended up paying more than double the price to another company which surcharged the last minute call. Nonetheless I spent a month now chasing the refund of my deposit listening to various excuses on how they process refunds and the time it takes. I should claim for damages !!!

   STOLE FROM MY PREGNANT WIFE AND 2YR OLD DAUGHTER

   Please avoid this company at all costs. The workman packing up stole jewellery from my 8 month pregnant wife and my 2 year old daughter. We trusted them in our home and they went through our stuff and took my wife's engagement ring, wedding ring, and a number of other items inherited from deceased relatives. They even took money out of our daughters piggy bank. The workers were rude, damaged our property, left without packing stuff, did not dismantle things that would not fit down the stairs and did not label any of the boxes, so we had to move them around the new house ourselves. But all these further issues seem to be insignificant, as the distress they have caused from stealing items with huge sentimental value to us massively outweighs this. I have notified the company but all they are saying is that they are investigating this and I cannot speak to anyone senior. Do not use this company - they've made an already stressful experience awful and do not seem to be willing to put things right.

   Did not wear appropriate PPE and damaged items

   I cannot recommend removals zone if you are planning a house move. We specifically hired this company and requested they wear full antibacterial suits - this was the only reason we actually chose the company. This is due to me being clinically extremely vulnerable to COVId. On the morning of the move they told me they did not have the suits available, and if I wanted them the movers would be 3 hours late. 3 hours late was not an option as the house had to be vacant by 2pm (they said they would end up arriving at 3pm if they had to wear the suits). One of the movers did not wear his mask over his nose also. On top of this they have very badly damaged our large chest of drawers, it’s clearly been dropped as all of the drawers have broken in half. There is also large gashes taken out of the painted wood on the corners. While the guys who did the move were nice guys and very helpful, I cannot recommend this company.

   BREACH OF COVID REGULATIONS AND UNPROFESSIONAL

   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. 1. I explained the amount of stuff I had to the office, specifying the number of boxes, and knew that it was not a large amount, but was told I would need 2 luton vans. Upon arrival, the team was shocked at how little I had when they had come with 2 vans. It barely filled half on one luton van. So I have ended up paying extra money that wasn't needed. When I said this to the company afterwards, they told me the removal team told the office I had less boxes than I had stated. Why would I say I had more than I actually have, to end up paying more money?? 2. Importantly, and very seriously, NONE of the men who came to do the job were wearing a mask or any type of PPE. No gloves or hand sanitiser was used while handling my items. And no mask or gloves were offered to me, as was stated would be the case in an earlier email. This is a serious breach of current guidelines and could potentially have put my household at risk. I am very unhappy with this, as I specifically chose this company due to the precautions you said you were taking currently due to Covid 19 which assured me that myself and my household would be kept safe. 3. Upon arrival, I wasn't greeted with any sort of hello, or any type of information, and wasn't communicated with throughout the whole process. I felt the service was very impersonal and when I asked questions they weren't answered in any way. When I advised that I didn't want certain items stored underneath other items I was given no confirmation that the instructions were understood. This is extremely poor and left me with no confidence in the work that was being carried out. 4. The way that certain boxes were handled where they were clearly marked fragile or heavy wasn't satisfactory; I didn't feel at ease with the way my items were being handled. 5. Upon arrival, one of the gentlemen was smoking in the van, which when he opened the door, there was a sticker on the dashboard which clearly said 'no smoking in this vehicle'. This did not give me confidence and felt very unprofessional.

    Worst removal.

    Worst removal of all 5 I've used. Workers were slow and took more than 4 hour to move the amount of things previously moved in half the time. After that they charged me for all the time they took to chill.
