   Moving Experience From San Diego to Maui.

   I had a great experience with Royal Hawaiian Movers Inc./Dewit Companies LLC.  They were on time, packed all my personal belongings very professionally, and were very knowledgeable and customer service oriented throughout the moving process.  Communication was redily available about my shippment, both on my end calling in, as well as informing me of the status of my arrival. The unpacking of my personal goods was also done with much professionality and aloha.  I would recommend Royal Hawaiian Movers/Dewitt in considering your move! .

   Moving to Hawaii.

   We moved from Minnesota to Hawaii and chose Royal Hawaiian Movers after much searching on the internet and calls for information.  RHM was the company that responded to us quickly and were extremely helpful.  We packed our own supplies and dropped them off at the movers, watched them load everything into a crate and then picked it up at the port..just to save some money.  Everyone we were in contact with was very helpful and courteous.  All of our supplies and equipment arrived  intact.  We highly recommend RHM for any move to Hawaii..we only wish we had shipped more of our household supplies as replacing them here is much more expensive!  RHM is the best!!        .

   Very impressed!!

   I moved from Kailua, Hawaii, to the San Francisco Bay Area. The men arrived early to pickup my goods and were very professional and very fast. I had packed most of my goods myself because I want organize and label each box myself. The movers packed my kitchen, books and my art work. They wrapped all my furniture which was a surprise since that wasn't the practice of any movers I have used before. I have moved over 20 times in my life and these movers were the best I have ever experienced. They also packed the shipping crates right at my home rather than at their warehouse. Their agents in California were very professional and moved all my goods into a rented storage unit. It wasn't necessary for them to unwrap or unpack any of the furniture or boxes. The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars is because two boxes are missing, one small box that I packed myself and another large dish pack that they packed. Also, there was a Native American wedding vase that was broken but breakage is always possible in a big move. I have submitted a claim and I am hoping that the professionalism will continue and that I am able to receive reimbursement on my claim. I have read some of the other reviews about items being stolen and I believe that this is not the case here. I am not sure what happened but I don't think it was theft.      .

   They are garbage

   The experience with the moving company was deeply disappointing and frustrating. Firstly, they began using my JBL speaker without seeking permission, showing a blatant disregard for my personal belongings. When they finally asked, it was 15 minutes later, which I found disrespectful. Moreover, their treatment of my furniture was appalling. They scratched my wood furniture extensively, leaving it in a state that was far from acceptable. Their behavior in the parking garage was not only inconvenient but also inconsiderate. They parked their truck in a manner that obstructed other residents from parking, causing unnecessary inconvenience and drawing negative attention. Furthermore, their lack of professionalism was evident when they initially planned to leave without unpacking any of the boxes. Upon insistence, their demeanor turned hostile and aggressive, making the situation even more unpleasant. Even when they did unpack, they showed a complete disregard for my instructions. Items were haphazardly strewn around, ignoring simple directives such as organizing cleaning items in the laundry room. During the paperwork process, their behavior was unacceptable. One member of the crew spoke down to me and glared, creating an intimidating atmosphere. To add insult to injury, they left my apartment in disarray, failing to remove all the boxes and paper, leaving behind a mess for me to clean up. Overall, their actions were unprofessional, disrespectful, and negligent, resulting in a deeply unsatisfactory experience.

   Worst moving company I've ever used

   I moved from Seattle to Maui summer 2021. The moving company said they only needed 1 day to pack my belongings despite it's always taken 2 days in my past overseas moves. I have a 1.5 bedrm w storage unit. When I received my things in Maui it was very clear why. Kitchen items/clothes were just thrown into boxes, and furniture was only wrapped in a few layers of paper - no bubble wrap or blankets. This is resulted in most of my furniture being damaged, also because how it was packed in the container. Total disregard for my items from the packers in Seattle. 3 months afterwards I'm still dealing with the insurance company and don't have usable living rm and dinning rm furniture.

   Do not Use this company.

   If you are moving from the mainland- do not use this company. I moved from the mainland and expected good service since this company has a good Better Business Bureau Rating, so we paid more than other companies to not have to worry. When they packed our items - it was smooth but when we landed here - despite multiple conversations with our representative on the mainland side about no additional fees, they tried to charge us an addition 700 dollars to move out items off the boat the day before our scheduled move. When they did move us in - they dropped and broke many of my items (including a couch), ruined some property and refused and got irritated when asked to unpack - which was included in the price of the move. I am still - 3 months later working to get my damages fixed on the items that they broke. It is unfortunate since this move was made much more stressful than it needed to be.

   Lost in translation.

   Recently moved from Kauai to Virginia. One bag of fishing equipments was missing. Their people are unprofessional. My wife caught them watching TV in our master's bedroom. One guy was playing with my fishing reels. They don't have a business watching TV and touching my reels as their job is to pack. I complained to David but I was told that unfortunately he cannot help me because the manifest was complete. But what if one of their guys stole the bag? They did not confirm with my wife everything what was packed. On the manifest was a box labeled fishing equipment but the bag that has different lures, hooks and even sinkers was not there. The value of that bag was close to $500. Who knows if one guy took it since the bag was in the garage and nobody was watching? In fairness our things were properly packed and nothing was chipped or broken but overall I am very disappointed with Royal Hawaiian Movers.
