   The first representative from this company that I spoke and arranged the move with, LIED about delivery date options. I told her that I had to have a definite delivery date and she assured me that it could be arranged. This was absolutely not true. Then, the mover showed up to get my furniture and the mover said it would be $400 more. Two days before the mover arrived, I had just reviewed with another rep from this company EXACTLY what I was moving and he said there would be no additional charge. I should have stopped the move right then. All the reps that I spoke with from this company said that I would be notified when my furniture was loaded on the truck that would take it to its final destination, and provided with a delivery time frame so that I could make arrangements to get to the destination. LIE~ I received a call on a Sunday night that my furniture would be delivered the next day. Since I do not live in the state where the furniture was going, I had to get a last minute, very expensive flight, to receive the furniture. To top it off, that mover charged me an additional $600 for a shuttle and long carry. These are in the contract but were never disclosed when I was quoted for the move. It seems to me that the moving broker and moving company are in collusion with each other. There is no doubt in my mind that these companies do not intend to disclose all the additional charges AND, will say ANYTHING to get you to go with their company. If the initial rep had been truthful about delivery, I never would have used the company and would have saved myself money and stress. I hope others learn from my mistake and don't use this company.
