   Quality moving service.

   Our move was fully conducted by this moving company. I called to receive a quote but it sounded really, really good so I didn't felt the need to research the competition, Strong Move were enough for our needs. The movers came with a van, just big eonugh for all of our stuff. To be honest, we were not the easiest customers and there was a certain amount of disagreement but in the end, the job was done well, and up to our preferences. I really liked them and would recommend them highly.

   Trusted service provider.

   We were doing a full-on move with all the inventory, even the carpets were coming with us as I've bought them a few years back. Strong Move seemed like the only firm with the capacity to deal with the task in time. Todd, their office rep, was kind and helpful, taking ownership of the job and following up through the whole time. The move was done professionally, with all the packing and securing the items with bubble wrap. In the end, they delivered everything within the time limit and proved to me as a trusted removal service provider.

   Great moving service provider.

   They came to the property a bit late but made up for it by being the perfect gentlemen and delivering some really high quality services. Packaging and allocating the boxes through the inside of their van was their strenght and they managed to fill it up to the roof without anything being unstable or in danger of falling. That also showed for their professionalism as we received all of our boxes undamaged except for several lightly crumpled edges on some of the boxes. The contents however were intact and this round up my recommendation on Strong Move.

   Everything was delivered promptly.

   The movers were not exactly neat and tidy but I guess that's what you get when you work your back off all day. Anyway, they have come to lift things, not to be handsome. The load of furniture was quite big and it took them several hours just to haul it all up on the truck. Of course, they also made sure our things were packed safely for the trip. The unpacking was all saved for ourselves and it took us nearly a week untill we've finally settled but now I can say the move was a definite success.

   Quick and professional.

   The easiest move I have ever experienced. Very easy to book as well. The guys were very kind and professional. They were careful with my items - really appreciate that. Got it done in super quick time and took the stress out of the move. Rated them with 4 stars because the team were 15 minutes late but overall, the service was good. I would use again and recommend to friends.

   Late and late and late.

   I booked 4 services of them and only the first one went smoothly, the second which was removal came late, and a cleaning service were pushed back and pushed back from 9am untill afternoon and then they call me told me that its been cancelled because no one came!! I was waiting, and make hundred of calls to confirm and they couldn't be able to tell me an exactly answer, they just ruined the whole plan that I schedule, then I have another removal service which I have to book on that day cause I fly away and they didn't have any other slots, but then still, late and pushed back even when I got fly away I stil in a worry situation because no one came to pick my stuffs on the booked timing and they even call me to cancelled it and pushed back for the next day, and the next day they even can't arange any replace service for me !! im not in the country and this services has [EDIT] me up with evething I planed, with my stuff hanging there not knowing if anyone will cone to collect it. I wasted so much money on this company and still I got nothing but a mess.

   Terrible - 3x more expensive than estimate given, items broken.

   We paid for both the packing service and to move c.10 miles from a two bedroom flat. I was concerned about the amount of boxes/furniture we had and so we originally asked for 2 vans/a larger van and also queried the time estimate they gave for moving. They said that the packers would confirm when they came but were very sure a larger vehicle/more time would not be needed. When the packers came we specifically asked them to confirm and they said the medium sized van on its own would be sufficient and that the time booked for the job (c. 5 hours) would be more than sufficient. Other than that the packing service was relatively good. We still expressed reservations to the HQ but they assured us that if everything didn't fit in the van they would send a transit van immediately to pick up the remainder. When the movers came the following day they immediately said that (i) they did not think everything would fit in the van; and (ii) that it would take them 4 hours (not the initially estimated 2) to get everything out of the flat. We were therefore late delivering our keys to the estate agent. We immediately rang the company and asked for a second van or bigger van to be made available - despite what they had told us the previous day they then said nothing further was available. They either were lying to us then or had lied to us the day before. In the end the van was 50% smaller than we needed it to be. The movers had to do two trips back to the old flat to collect the remaining items. Luckily the estate manager was able to find a storage area we could leave the items in between the two trips - the removers solution had been that we would just have to leave them in a pile outside the property until they were able to come back - obviously susceptible to both damage and theft - unacceptable. In the end the job took 11 hours including the multiple trips. The movers themselves identified one damaged item (a vintage table, the glass of which has been smashed irreparably) and we later identified a broken frame. Despite noting these to the removal company immediately, the full charge for the service (which was c. 3 times the estimate) was taken from my husband's account immediately after the movers left our property that evening. We have been chasing for over a month (via email and telephone) for compensation for the damaged items and have still not managed to get a response. This is by far the worst service I have ever received.

   Far too slow, stressful, took three times more money than quoted.

   My move with Strong Move was the most stressful move I have ever done, including all moves for which I have not used professionals. To start with, when the movers arrived they acted horrified at the fact that they needed to move the bed and sofa. Despite the fact that I had listed the furniture to be moved ahead of time. They then disregarded my quoted price, and started working **really really slowly** billing by the hour. With hindsight, I should have insisted that Strong Move stick to the quote, since the amount to be moved had not changed. To give an idea of how slow Strong Move were, they painstakingly removed the contents of every tiny drawer in chests or drawers and even small desktop drawers, and boxed up the content. Any efficient removals service will move drawers full of their contents, and reassemble chests of drawers in the van -- this saves space and time. To give a second example, I had wooden stackable boxes of books: Strong Move removed the books from these boxes, packed the books in one cardboard box and the empty wooden boxes in another! Of course, they also bill you per box, so wasting boxes is something they excel at. The move took forever. It took four men 10 hours to move the contents of a tiny one bedroom flat 4 miles up the road. This was after packing. At the end of the day, Strong Move withdrew three times the quoted sum from my account, without my consent. I cannot get an answer from them about this. Avoid!

   Awful.

   I moved from 1 bedroom flat to 3 bed house and it took 6 hours! From the moment they turned up they were slow, I told them I needed to drop the keys to the estate agent before 12 so the new owners could move in. At 12 they were nowhere near finished, while at the same time they left my stuff out on the street and with the van doors open. I tried to express the urgency but they didn't care. It took them about 40 mins just to take apart a wardrobe, not a complex/fitted wardrobe just a normal free-standing one. It was a nightmare move to new house, I think the hourly rate was big part of their sluggishness, I could have done everything much quicker and cheaper if I got a friend and a rental van.

    Worst company ever - AVOID.

    From the time they pick up the phone, you can tell how amateur they are. the treat with the client is poor. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't looking for the cheapest company, just for one with good reviews, but it seems that either the reviews here are paid or I ended up with the worst movers ever. -To begin with, they arrived 3 hours late, I sat at home waiting like a retarded while they keep telling me, hour after hour, that they will be there the next hour. -1 item was lost and after weeks of chasing, they do nothing since their partner "denies seeing the item". Just avoid this crap of company, pay a bit more for a decent thing, ended up loosing an 85pounds item just to save me some money. Pathetic service.
