Paid $6,500
Deliberately Damaged Furniture.
I watched the driver of Tanner Van Lines throw 4 hand trucks on top of my fully loaded items in the truck at the time of pick-up. Not surprisingly, my furniture suffered extensvie crush-type damages. Additionally I had five significant items lost in transport. I filed a claim for $3841 and documented the damages with 12 phtographs taken at the time of unloading. North American uses a third-party vendor to handle fully insured claims such as mine. Tanner Van Lines is unaccountable. To date, there is no plan for resolving the damages nor the losses. I have been advised, however, that I may not attempt to fix or mediate the damages, nor replace missing items, or my claim may not be paid at all. .
