Move from central TX to MA. The movers showed up and tell us that the estimate they were given by Road Runner was WAY under and we had twice as much. Mind you, we counted every box and piece of furnitureand sent pictures. So, their math was WAY off. Mover decided to leave rather than deal with it. So, we're stuck. We were supposed to start the drive to MA the next morning. They were able to get another moving company out the next day.
Then, all of our belongings were unloaded into a warehouse where they sat for 36 days. 43 days from the day our things were picked up, they arrived in MA. Boxes crammed in the truck upside-down, just about every one crushed, items destroyed or missing. These movers (American Knights) were unprofessional and rude. Flat out asking for a tip before they delivered anything and then complaining when it wasn't more. Unable to park the truck without multiple tries. Trying to get us to pay more than what our quote was.
