I would give them zero stars if able as this was truly a terrible experience from the start of them taking my CC for the 1st payment before they did anything. I moved from Texas to Iowa in late July 2021. When the movers came on 7/21 to start the physical move, a man by the name of John came in, (I already had a contractual estimate complete months before hand). John comes in does a walk thru of my apartment and tells me that I will be way over what would be allowed in the truck, and I would be charged more, and made me sign a contract before anything was physically moved out. If I had any sense, I would have told him to get out, and that I don't want anything to do with this company. I felt like I was a hostage, as I did need to be out by 7/28/21. So they completed the physical move into their truck, and was told by John, that it would be going into storage until another truck was available to complete the physical move of my inventory to Iowa. I was given the contract, had to give them a check for $2500.00, I had already paid $1000 for a deposit prior. I made the trip with my family/pets to Iowa by 8/1/21. I continued to attempt to reach Michelle in the office, as I was told she was the dispatcher, I spoke to her only live once, and she assured me that my inventory was ok, and that she was waiting on scheduling a truck. She also told me that once a truck was confirmed for the travel of my inventory into Iowa, that I would be receiving 2 calls, once to confirm that my inventory was loaded, and 2, when the driver was in route to Des Moines. I received never. I was out of my mind with worry, as I believed totally that since I was not able to reach Michelle again, left her multiple messages, that my inventory was either lost, or stolen. I contacted an attorney, and he stated that I would have a case against them. It is now going on 8/15/21, 3 full weeks since the start of this nightmare with this company, and I finally get a call from a guy on 8/15/21 who tells me he is on his way to Des Moines. When he arrived, he then proceeds to tell me that I need to call Michelle again, I did, she tells me that I need to wire transfer $750.00 more to her so that the driver can unlock the truck and proceed with moving my inventory into my new place. I was furious, but folks, READ THEIR CONTRACT. This is all in there, and I felt like I had just been ROBBED. This dude and his little friend, who looked like he just got outta high school, move my stuff into my new apartment, and then there was as I could see a whole lot of other inventory in the back of the truck that was mine, and told the guy that, and said that it wasn't. I told him, check the blue stickers, and the inventory sheets, which I wasn't allowed to see or check and verify myself. The first guy did check, and proceeded to move my remaining inventory out of the truck. The packers on the back end did a lousy job as it was not partitioned correctly, and remember I was told my John that my inventory wouldn't fit in a '26 foot truck that I would be way over that, which in turn they charged me for. The movers came in a Ryder '26 foot truck that contained my inventory and the inventory of another customer's stuff. The move was horrible, many of my larger wood pieces were scratched upon examination, and the movers on the Iowa side did a lousy job moving it all in, as many items were just basically dropped and no paying attention to labels or anything else, just did the most lazy, terrible job of movers I have ever seen. DON'T USE THEM, DON'T LISTEN TO THEIR LIES. FORMAL COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH THE BBB OF TEXAS. THERE ARE BETTER MOVERS OUT THERE. DON'T GET MIXED UP WITH THEM, THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS LIKE THIS.
