   From when we asked for information until we booked the service and all the questions we had afterward, American Plus Moving patiently and promptly answered all our questions via email or phone. The moving day went very smoothly too. We were very organized, and so were they. They didn't mind the long hallway to the elevator at the apartment and all the stairs they had to climb at our destination and were very careful with wrapping and unwrapping all the furniture. They were on time and efficient, and reasonably priced. Thank you for a great job done.

   Very Late Delivery - From Menlo Park, CA to Golden, CO

   Beware - this is not a moving company but a broker. They arrange our move with AMM Trucking LLC out of New Jersey. They picked up our stuff 3 days late. First available delivery date was June 24, 2021 with a deadline of arrival on July 24, 2021. After much stress and waiting around, we finally received our items on October 28, 2021. We will never use a moving company of any kind ever again. Rent a Uhaul and move your stuff yourself to prevent all the headaches. We went through a long 4 months and spent a good deal of money to replace our things. We could not sleep on the floor for 4 months. I do want to note that when the truck did arrive, the driver/movers were extremely polite and were very professional and help us go through the inventory list to make sure we received all of our items. If AMM Trucking LLC would just have been up front with us and told us they are having staff issues or whatever, we would have understood. Instead they lied to us telling us they would be there and not show up over 7 times over 4 months. To this day, we have no explanation on why the delivery was so late. On a positive note, AMM Trucking LLC did not make us pay the balance of $961 on arrival due to missing their deadline. The ratings are all over the place because it depends on who American Plus Moving and Storage arranges to move your items. Please also note, they are not liable for anything. If you have any issues, you will have to take it up with the actual movers who you did not research to begin with. It is luck of the draw.

   This company is a fraud

   This was the worst moving experience I've ever had. Multiple people at the company openly lied about their terms. This is a broker that connects you with an actual mover on both ends. The moving company they connected us with to pack our things was terrible as well. The lead mover showed up to our apartment and immediately demanded a bribe on the side so he wouldn't say that our move was overweight (even though American Plus told us we should overestimate our shipment in advance - we already overestimated how much weight and space we would need). After we told the mover that we were sure we would have enough space on the truck, he began to shout at my wife and argue with her.

   STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVING COMPANY!!! These people do not answer calls. They don’t tell you that multiple moving companies will move your belongings. They loss and damage everything I owned. Do not use them!!! I cried literally for months because of my loss of valuable things I cannot get back that was pass down from my family. They are rude, they treat your complaints as if it is your personal issue and not theirs. They lie about protection coverage. PLEASE TAKE MY WORDS SERIOUSLY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

   TOTAL SCAM

   We had a contract for a move from 2/12-2/13. They were very attentive for the first few days and then went dark the week before the move. Then after I emailed them for a specific driver and date, they responded with a fake p/u time that never happened. Leaving me in the lurch at a very stressful time. I will probably have to pay triple to get my items moved quickly now. They cashed my deposit check immediately on 2/2/22. I have emailed an "officer" of the LLC, GABRIELLA KLYOTSKIN. After checking on their LLC, I found it has been inactive since September 2021, yet they are still doing business??? They are thieves. They hit up people at their most vulnerable and stressful times and hold their belongings hostage. How can they still operate without a license? I am also contacting local Florida agencies for resolution of this issue. DO NOT CONSIDER THEM FOR YOUR BUSINESS!

   My things were picked up in WI on Dec.8 2021 to be delivered To ID in 7-14 days .I put down $1500 and an other 558.75 on day of pick up in cash with balance of 558.75 on delivery. I have called and emailed them many times with no reply's and the 3 times they did reply only excuses weather no trucks going to ID.. now not answering. BE WARE. Tomorrow is 2 mths they have had my belongings.

   Don't hire them.

   Long story short - they're getting one star because it's not possible to give zero. The company swore up and down they'd take care of my things and assured me that the standard $0.60/lb reimbursement (which seemed a little shady and having gone through this process is absolutely ridiculously low - there's no way the reimbursement could replace your items if anything is damaged). Then they proceeded to deliver with a mere 40-minutes notice, making me leave work abruptly to meet them (and still didn't show up for another two hours) and unload items that looked like they had been drop kicked off the side of the truck. Items clearly labeled 'this side up' were upside down and they even managed to break dumbbells. And finally, they even tried to short-change me on the little reimbursement I was allotted, not accurately calculating the weight of the damaged items listed on my reimbursement form. Steer clear of this company if you're moving.

    HORRIBLE service all the way around

    Start with our first experience of dealing with "Jim Brock" we HAD to make the decision that minute to go with them or loose out!.. Next day called and NO JIM BROCK working for them anymore! Price increased 3 times before move, and when we tried to get out of it all, we would loose our deposit. Promised 2 week, then told it would be maybe a month. First contract signed for a small move of 25 items that more than tripled by the time the move was done. We spent over $5000 for our items to arrive damaged and some items missing! Sure we have the insurance, which was never explained to be only .69 a pound and never offered anything else! NOW working with insurance is just as big of a nightmare!
