   Broker scam

   Brokers who low ball with a mile-long contract and only take money in ways you can’t dispute. Contract allows them to charge thousands more to get your things. There is even a clause that states contract is binding even if a violation of Florida law. Michael locks you in then Gabby and her boss are helpful to get movers but then hang up when your stuff is picked up by an outsourced company that also has a less-than-preferred contract (like a 2k nondisputable fee). We were delayed 10 days getting our things picked up and were required to sign another contract or lose our initial deposit. We finally got all of our stuff safely and managed to not pay the $5k over the estimate that they didn’t report until the day of delivery, but we were lucky. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

   Moving company

   This company delivered about one third of my actual belongings. Of the two thirds that were delivered, only a portion were not broken or damaged. They delivered my piano without the legs. They altogether did not deliver my childrens bunk beds. They broke my washing machine and China cabinet, tore 2/5 mattresses, broke the glass top to my coffee table and then said they threw it away prior to arrival due to how broken it was, I did not receive the large three piece mirror for the top of our major chest of drawers- it simply didn’t arrive- just like the bunk beds and bookshelf. This is only what I’ve found so far. I would never recommend this broker or the company they hired. Save yourself money and heartache and go somewhere else with your business. Also, always get third party insurance. The insurance these companies provide is at a 60 cent per pound compensation so you are severely underpaid for your lost or damaged items. Again, save yourself frustration and money and go somewhere else.

I have called 6 times to get update.woman said she would have them call. after 3 days,still no info. they never answer the phone. and we just wanted to get update on the items. I am not happy that no one will call to give us an update

   Won’t return call, voicemails, emails. Their “contractor” charged me over 2x as much as my estimate. I have pictures showing the 1700 cubic foot truck I was charged for was TWO THIRDS EMTPY on delivery. Our original estimate was 578 cubic feet.

   DO NOT book with these people. They will rip you off. They provided no service to me yet they kept my $1,738 deposit. The entire amount. They are trying to tell me it's like an airline ticket & is non-refundable even though they provided me with NO SERVICE!!! I originally booked the move on 10/16/21, I attempted to cancel on 12/4/21 & finally they called me back & I was able to cancel on 12/6/21. The move was scheduled for 2/25/21. They underestimated my cubic ft so they could give me a lower quote & I fell for it. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT call these people!! It's a SCAM!!! I would not even give it 1 star but they are fast talkers. The cancellation people are extremely rude!!!

   Classic Bait and Switch--RUN!!!

   Do you feel that moving is not stressful enough and want to add another layer of headaches? Are you feeling too confident lately? Maybe things are just going a little too good for you, and you want to bring yourself down a notch. Well, this moving company is perfect for you! Bottom line, save your time. Their own website says (you can look this up yourself, seriously) "whatever price we tell you will not change, come whatever may", but this is far from the case, as in the end we ended up paying a couple grand more than the original quote. And it does not matter how many times sales reps guarantee this for you, or guarantee timelines or anything, because they just fall back on "well the contract, even though it says the exact opposite of what we tell you, says we have XYZ rights." The sales reps are pushy, overbearing, and then absent as soon as they get your deposit. Seriously, eff this company, I can't believe it's even legal what they do. Check any legitimate review sites, and once you are done sifting through the obvious fake reviews, you will find trove upon trove of horror stories exactly like mine. Save yourself the time, money, and headache, moving is difficult enough without predatory companies trying to take advantage of you. When our stuff did finally arrive much later than quoted, most of it was damaged in some way. You spend your life buying and taking care of things, but within 1 month, this company just disregards all of that. I mean, how to lose a huge desk??? Things were straight up just missing out of our boxes. Most boxes that had glass were smashed. My vinyl records were ruined. Art supplies ruined. Oh yeah, did I mention the company they hooked us up with had a "stop order" issued on it in the middle of our move? They either are lazy in their due diligence in who they work with, or they knowingly placed us with a company with equally as terrible reviews as American Plus. I am pretty sure I could throw a dart at the white pages and find a better moving company than the one we got. Pretty much anyone we spoke with (when we could even get a hold of any body) was rude, unprofessional, or acting like you're the bad guy because all of your worldly possessions are in their hands and you aren't sure if you'll ever receive them. My guess is that they get yelled at every day because their poor service and business model is so terrible, that they've just become jaded. My only hope is that someone sees this and thinks twice before being exploited, because this is exactly what this company will do. They'll quote you a price, and then when the movers show (probably some schlubby movers they booked off craigslist in a rented truck that will double the price before even loading a single thing, and you're in a tight spot because you have to be out of your apartment or house).

   I booked American Plus Moving on July 31, 2021., at 2:22pm. I canceled by email and phone on August 1, at 1:57pm. This is within the 48 hour window! When I call the company and leave a message, I do not receive a call back. When I call and am able to talk with someone, they hang up on me! I have been trying to reach anyone with this company for 3 months. If they feel I am not due a refund, I would like to know why! I do NOT feel like this is a company anyone should do business with!!

   They don’t take credit cards because they can’t they lost their merged account to too many chargebacks Sal, Todd and Gabby on the company they only take a check over the phone or a Zell payment because you can’t fight.     Slime ball tactics.

    Martin keeps calling, telling me the company I hired to do my move won’t show up for the move and if they do, they’ll demand a ton more money. He’s telling me my “job” isn’t on the job board to be done. And he will have to pick up my move as a recovery move. This is a scare tactic so I will drop my company and go with them. DON’T fall for it! Martin says he’s the manager but then put his manager on the phone to tell me the same BS. More scare tactic BS. If they were a reputable company, they’d work on helping new customers rather than scaring customers of other companies to switch to them! Just dirty a$$holes. The only positive ratings they have are from their own people, and friends.
