   I would personally like to thank beefcake movers for their incredible professionalism and service. Shawn and his crew were absolutely great, everyone I encountered provided first class service and did everything they could to ensure they exceeded my expectations. My move to Arizona went as smooth as its could. Truly the best and I will always recommend them.

   Honest Mover.

   Best movers to hire for your move. Explained everything upfront and provided exceptional service. Took really good care of all furniture moved and packed liked pros. It can get very stressful when looking to hire a good moving company, I received several quotes, some companies seem to eager for my business, beefcake moving got straight to the point. I recommend this company for anyone looking for an honest mover. Moving across country isn’t cheap, so expect to get what you pay for, if your looking for a cheap mover you’ll get cheap service. If your looking for white glove service I highly recommend beefcake.

   Beefcake Moving and Storage.

   Two most important things you want in a moving company, I’d say: careful handling of your goods, and speed. Beefcake gets my highest rating on both. Pickup team, Sean and Gustavo, was outstanding, seeming to spend a little extra attention and care on two major items, a large bookcase and a revolving CD tower, that could not be insured because they are made of wood products rather than solid wood. They—and everything—came through the move without damage, and nothing was lost. I talked to a half-dozen companies before deciding on Beefcake, who, coincidentally, I discovered had moved two of my friends: one a cross-town move, the other from L.A. to Kansas City. I see now why Beefcake got rave reviews from both. By the way, Beefcake quoted me the lowest price of any of the movers I queried.

   Move to Minnesota.

   We use Beefcake movers for our move to Minnesota, they provided a free on site estimate for our three bedroom house. We were giving a binding quote for all our items which included some packing. I wish I would’ve taking pictures of their work, but with two toddlers on move date, I didn’t have a chance. These guys mean business, we didn’t realize how hard moving can be. Very professional crew and service from beginning to end. Delivery was within their delivery window, and at delivery I was given a 24 hour notice by driver. Their is no doubt I totally recommend this company! I recommend getting an on-site if you are within their service area.

   Professional service all around..

   I hired beefcake movers to move me to New York. I couldn't be happier with their service. My initial call was with gabby who took care of my moving needs until the end. She was very detailed in explaining how the entire process would work. Told me up front any additional fees that could occur, being that I moved to a high rise in the city, there was no access to a big semi trailer so she right away provided me with the cost of a shuttle which is a smaller truck they transfer your items to in order to deliver. The way this company shows how they care about your items, so professionally packed and handled is impressive. Their prices are very competitive, however service exceeded my expectations!

   May 4, 2020, email from Beefcake Moving and Storage per Gabbie 300 item $8,103.73. Morning of May 6, 2020, Pickup Invoice $8103.73. Evening of May 6, 2020, after loading $13,222.88 minus ($14,197.88) the $975.00 for so call help in packing. PIckup guesstimation/estimate 501 items per driver/person in charge. May 13, 2020, deliver balance paid $4,899.88. Items delivered approximately 296.00. May 13, 2020, inexperienced helpers hired by Beefcakes Driver off Craigslist scratched up my newly installed wood floor by dragging boxes across the floor, estimated repair cost $1,800.00. Overage of guesstimation/estimate $5,119.15 ( $13,222.88 - $8,103.73 = $5,119.15). From my understanding right is right, from an estimate if there is an overage there must be a refund. The information that I am providing is for the reader to make informed decision about Beefcake Moving Storage.    Stay away from long distance moves.

   Here is my experience with Beefcake on a long-distance move from CA to MI: 1. When they arrived the day of the move to load the truck, they informed me that I needed to pay 20% before they would do anything. I admit that I added three rugs and a washer/dryer to a 6 bedroom - 7,000 sq ft house move, and according to them this increased the price 20%. However, at this point I had no choice, so I paid it. 2. They started loading the truck on July 22nd and unloading on August 19th. Technically, this is within their delivery schedule as they can take as long as 21 business days to deliver your furniture and you should expect them to take this long. 3. When they arrived to unload, the driver wouldn't park on my street, in fact he wouldn't even drive on my street. This is a street in Michigan where cars park on both sides and one can still drive through them..but he wouldn't drive on this empty street (I asked my neighbors to move). So now they informed that they needed $2,500 more for shuttle service (i.e. renting a small moving truck) and that they would not unload my furniture until I paid. Again, at this point I had no choice, so I had to pay. They might be OK on a local move as the loading and unloading was pretty good, but stay away from Long-Distance moves with these guys.

   Mr & Mrs Clem, We appreciate any form of feedback regarding our company. We’d like to clarify a few of your statements. Prior to reserving your move with our company you provided us with an inventory list of the items you wanted us to move. Your moving consultant explained what would consist of your out of state move. She also informed you based on the delivery address provided, you would in fact require shuttle service at delivery do to the 80 foot semi not having access on your street, she informed you based on your items the fee would be $2,500.00. You were adamant that you wouldn’t require one. Your moving consultant also called you a day before your pick up date to go over your inventory list to confirm with you any changes on your inventory list. Which you made a few. On the day of your pick up when your crew arrived your foreman informed you prior to the crew getting started on your move that you had several additional items that were not listed in your inventory, not 3 rugs, washer and dryer. He also gave you to the option to only move the items you had originally provided and you refused. The original inventory list you provided your moving consultant had 284 items. We ended up moving 496 items, double of what you told us originally. Your foreman actually under calculated by providing a 20% increase. As for delivery you were also informed of your delivery window and our terms and conditions prior to booking your move with our company and you still decided to proceed with our company. We’d like to point out a discount was provided for your shuttle service st delivery and a long carry fee was waived. 99% of our moves are long distance moves, with hundreds of satisfied customers. With moves double your size. It is unfortunate we did not exceeded your expectations based on the exceptional service we provided you. And you find the need to post the same 1 star review in several of our social media platforms. That being said we’d like to wish you and your family all the best in Michigan.

   Rude Customer Service.

   After reading these reviews I called for an estimate. After the woman provided an estimate, I came to understand that if my front door is more than 75 feet from the truck there is a charge of $1 per additional foot. BTW, I had to pry this information out of her. When I challenged her on the additional charge for a large apartment complex, she just hung up on me. Bottom line, rude and watch out for the 'long carry' fee. Buyer beware.

    Beefcake Moving & Storage.

    The worst moving company I have ever used. It starts off great. Gabby the rep says all the right things. The price is right. Then when they actually move you the price doubles. They want Cash previous to Delivery. They neglect to tell you that that actual move in date you specify isn't the date you get.. it is somewhere within 20 days of that date. They show up with a truck that either can't clear your driveway or the electrical wires and then charge you an additional fee in cash ($500 in our case) to receive your things via another truck so it takes hours maybe days to still receive. Then Gabby will be snarky and tell you you should have read the fine print on the contract but takes no responsibility for not explaining these very important and specific points to you. They are dishonest, unethical and rude. Crooks as far as we are concerned. Very dishonest behavior. DO NOT USE THEM.
