   Definitely recommended

   Country Mile made my move a worry free and smooth. I've had to move a lot for my work and have been burned several times by other movers. But these guys really do deliver on their promises. Kind, professional, responsive, efficient, and trustworthy. Price is reasonable. Would definitely recommend and will use for future moves.

   Amazing

   Country Mile are amazing! We hired them for our move and they made everything so easy. They went above and beyond and even helped move some things that we were leaving behind out. So quick, efficient, and very careful with all our items. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing to move!!!

   Stress free move no issues

   Had to clean out my Mother’s old place and move all her old furniture into storage by me, called Country Mile, set up a moving day, truck came at 9am and was all loaded up by 2pm. Was a definitely more items than I first thought but they took care of it all no sweat. Would use again.

   Do not work with them

   I worked directly with Dan, the owner and while he was very responsive in answering the phone, the overall quality of the experience of moving was not good. Details were often missed and inaccurate, communication was sometimes responsive and quick, but again not very detailed and many questions not answered and unresolved. The moving company scheduled to come on a certain day did not show up and were a full day late. The movers onsite were nice and they were fast, but many things were damaged, very unorganized during packing and unpacking, and overall very rushed. The overall feeling was they wanted to get the job done as quickly as possible to move on to the next one. I paid for a dedicated semi and communicated and expected it would be 2 days to pack and unpack, while both were done in 1 day - which you'd think would be nice. But when the quality is poor and rushed with your nice furniture and things, this was bad. I also had to pay additional fees last minute that were not communicated at all, when I was very clear how much stuff I had. Overall a very bad experience and would not recommend working with this company. They are a broker, not the actual moving company. Next time i'll go direct with the moving company for more responsibility, accountability and hopefully better communication due to no middle man.

   Exceedingly Poor & Unprofessional Service

   If I could I would give them a zero stars rating, I certainly would! Movers were exceedingly unprofessional! Our experience with Country Mile was a difficult and very stressful, not to mention expensive, experience from the very beginning! I was given no guidance or assistance with any of the paperwork, which was not properly completed ('stick-on' inventory numbers applied to our household goods so that they might be tracked & properly accounted for were not used!) nor was I offered the option of better insurance coverage (vs. the minimal $.60 per pound!) The crew couldn’t even show up when they said that they would. On day one, they said that they would arrive on-site at 7:30 am. They showed up at about 1:00 in the afternoon. In point of fact they NEVER arrived on site when they said that they would. On the day of pick-up, they arrived four hours late with an already partially loaded truck. As a result, our household goods were moved in two different shipments. The day of our second delivery, the crew left well before they had completed setting up our office. It took me in excess of 8 hours to complete the setup. Additionally, the pick-up crew lost the hardware for our daybed & I had to purchase replacement hardware! On the day of pick-up, the movers picked up two tables, but at our new home, they only delivered only one. In that the table was disassembled into its components (4 Cabriole-style table legs and the table top) I find it very curious that NONE of the components arrived at our new home (strongly suggesting that the table (complete) was stolen!) The table, of solid cherry construction & in pristine, as new condition, was inherited from my mother-in-law by my wife & when new cost well over $1000.00! We notified Country Mile Moving that the table was missing & they claimed to have checked the storage facility where it had been stored. And in less than a day we were told that they found nothing! Clearly Country Mile made no real, earnest effort to actually trace where our table was! As we unpacked our household goods, we discovered many, many broken or damaged item. Most of this breakage and/or damaged was as a result of sub-standard (careless or inadequate padding and packing.) In short, DO NOT use this company for anything! Their business practices are completely unprofessional and nothing short of fraudulent. You will almost certainly end up very dissatisfied and ultimately paying our far more than you would if you had used a first-line moving company.

   Very Poor Service and Inaccurate Quotes

   Please Do Not Use This Company AT All! The service was very poor, the communication was even more poor, we talked to one person and made a payment to get the move started, then that person was fired and our original payment and plans were not honored at all and more money was requested on the spot to continue the process. We received no actual move date and time, we had to wait around for days. Then they called the day of the move to schedule the load of the truck well after business hours in a very inconvenient manner. Please save yourself a headache, and choose another moving company!

   Scam company

   Truly an awful, scumbag, scam of a company. Our experience was a disaster from the start, when a few days before our move we were contacted by quality control who added an additional $2,000 to our originally quoted price. Upon arrival, the moving company that they sent (this is another story... they told us that they weren't a van line company. They absolutely are.) charged us even MORE money at the door for our items. It was clear that the strategy on the sales team (our rep was Matthew) is to grossly underestimate your cubic feet to upsell you when you are desperate. In addition, they maintain a good rating on BBB (somehow), however they contract with moving companies that have F ratings, and you have no idea who you are getting until they show up at your door. When our items arrived at our destination, the company first tried to charge us an extra $1400 because they claimed that their truck wouldn't fit. This was not true. We provided photo evidence that the truck had an extremely wide area to park directly in front of our house yet they still insisted they charge us. I was able to haggle that down to $750, but it still felt like I was being scammed. Onto the actual items that were delivered...it was a disaster. Dozens of our items were broken beyond repair. One table was literally cracked in half down the middle. We were PROMISED that our furniture would be carefully wrapped and moved, but this was not the case. It is costing us hundreds of dollars to replace what they broke. I tried to make a claim on the damages, but I was told that I could only get $60 back. When I asked for a detailed report of how they got to that number, I received an automated email. All in all, the move itself cost double what Matthew originally quoted me. This is not counting all the furniture and items that were broken. Do not touch this company with a ten foot pole. I am out thousands of dollars due to their malicious practices.

   Fraud!!!

   From the outset, Country Mile Moving presented a professional front. They arrived with a 1700 cubic square foot trailer, which seemed ample for our belongings. However, the situation quickly deteriorated when they claimed to have used over 2500 cubic square feet and demanded additional payment to the tune of $17,000, significantly more than the $11,000 originally agreed upon. I had meticulously documented the entire packing process, confident in the knowledge that the space they claimed to have used was grossly exaggerated. When I stood my ground and refused to pay the inflated charge, the company’s response was shocking. They drove off with our possessions still in their trailer, effectively holding them hostage. As I write this, we are embroiled in a legal battle to recover our items. It’s a stressful and disheartening situation that I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. The company’s actions have been nothing short of fraudulent, and their customer service is non-existent. I rarely pen online reviews, but I felt it necessary to warn potential customers about this company’s unethical practices. If I could give zero stars, I would. My advice? Stay far away from Country Mile Moving and spare yourself the ordeal.

    Absolute cheaters

    I had a horrible and stressful experience with them. It could have been much better if I did not decide to go with them. I saw them my stuff over a video call in full details and asked for estimates. The person who came to pick the stuff, started ruckus and demanded more money and if I dont agree, then leave without returning deposits. Dan, the owner was also the part of the game and created a situation where I had to agree to their new estimates of by paying more than $1000. Also didn’t confirmed the load they picked up from my house in cubic sq ft. Completely hide everything They also didn’t meet the delivery time frame and missed it by about 2 weeks, caused lot of issue for me. Dan asked me to sleep on air mattress. Since my stuff was with them, I couldn’t do much. They also conveniently dont provide insurance, if they do then they would go out of business. When you question their commitment they read fine print of contracts and every other rule. Verbal commitment is nothing. So you feel like you were lied and feel miserable. If you go with them then take everything in writing and ask for contract papers before you send money for deposit. They made you do zelle transfer for deposit so you cant claim your money, and keep going into their dirty rabbit hole. They ruined my move and caused a lot of stress for a month.
