   Let me tell you, I recently used this moving company, and I was blown away by their level of professionalism and attention to detail. They showed up on time, and from the moment they started packing my belongings, I knew I was in good hands. They handled everything with care and made sure that nothing was damaged in the move. And when it came to unpacking, they made sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it.

   STAY AWAY FROM ECOWAY MOVERS!

   They sent Metropolitan Movers - I assume a subcontractor. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! They were so slow racking up the hours to charge. Damaged furniture, stained mattresses and damaged walls and door frames. They had no credit card machine when it came time to pay (Ecoway said we could pay by credit card). They did not deduct my deposit. When I complained to Ecoway, they sent me a claim for from yet another business name - GetMovers. They have to check with their billing department to see about the deposit…I bet I will never hear from them! I don’t know who these people are that gave them a 5 star review, but they cannot be real people. STAY AWAY FROM ECOWAY MOVERS!!

   Moving

   These guys adjust the price on the go. They gave me a quote to remove a mattress and boxspring when I hired them for a move. During the move the price all of a sudden went up $150 to include removal. These guys lie and are very deceitful in their business practices. Hire somebody else for your move. LIARS LIARS LIARS

   Disappointing service & ethics

   Curt and sketchy workers who supposedly spent 4.5 hours driving from Pickering to Toronto. I had enough stuff to fill a single room but ended up overpaying 1k. When I called HQ to ask where they were, I magically got a call not 5 minutes later from the movers stating they had just arrived. Customer service was pushy and kept talking over me. Skip these movers and get literally anyone else for better service.

    Horrible Experience

    I had a very disappointing experience with Ecoway Movers. I was overcharged by an extra hour, which I only noticed on the bill after my mom had to insist on taking a photo of it. I wasn’t present at the time of payment due to a personal emergency, so my mom was handling things on my behalf. They initially said they only accepted cash or e-transfer, and since my mom didn’t have either, she called me for direction. I told her to have them send me the amount owing, and I would e-transfer immediately. Suddenly, they were willing to accept a credit card. They also left before the work was finished. During the quote phone call, I specifically asked for boxes to be brought to the correct floors in my new home, but during the move, they refused to do this, leaving my 60-year-old mom to do it herself. My mom also asked them to move a boxed-up bed, but they told her it was “too heavy” and refused. Later, my child’s father brought it up by himself. I can understand if they couldn’t move certain items already on-site, but that’s not what they said. Instead, they rudely told my mom it was too heavy and refused to help. I submitted a complaint, but it has been well over their processing time of 18 business days with no response. Someone from Ecoway Movers called for a survey, and I honestly shared my experience and mentioned that no one had contacted me about my complaint. They said someone from the complaints department would call me the next day, but it has been well over two weeks, and I still haven’t heard from them. A few days ago, I called again to ask about my complaint, and the person on the phone said the complaints department would call me back. I’m still waiting. I hired movers to make my move less stressful, but this entire experience, from the move to the lack of follow-up, has been beyond stressful and completely unprofessional.
