   A total scam.

   I was directed to Get Moving Ontario through moveit.ca. After speaking with the reported owner, Kevin Jenkinson, I chose the company as they were a smaller, local company in London, Ontario, where I was moving from, and were able to accommodate all aspects of my move. Upon asking for references, I was directed to their (very brief) testimonials on their website, and was assured that 3 movers and a large van would be there on moving day. On the day of the move; however, THE COMPANY DID NOT SHOW UP, and WERE COMPLETELY UNREACHABLE by phone, email or text. The voicemail box of the number I had been using (and the only number on the website) was full, and there were no responses to a text message (despite previous text message communication) nor to an email to the company address. Not only that, but 3 weeks later, I have still not heard from the company. My building manager was fortunately able to put me in contact with an alternate local company that day, who was able to pull an emergency favour, rent a van, and move myself and my belongings to another city. Thankfully, I never provided any payment or credit card information to Get Moving Ontario, but would not want any customer to deal with the stress that I went through on moving day.
