   Best Movers Ever!!

   We contacted JJ Cabus Movers to help us unload our truck coming from Tampa FL. These guys were on time, in uniforms and very polite. They protected our floors and walls. The 26ft truck was unloaded in 2 hours! We will be using JJ Cabus Movers if we ever decide to move in the future!

   Saved me.

   After having a mover never show up to move my belongings in the middle of the day I was stranded with not a single moving company available to move my items this company saved my mother and I. What company do you know of that will save you from the nightmare of having to move on a deadline and will come in the middle of the night and work until 4am?  Well the three guys that  came out, did just that and loaded not one but two apartments and loaded it in my Abf trailer at the terminal until 4:30am! They have no idea how much they saved us emotionally , physically and financially.  Forever great full for their acts of kindness of saving truly two damsels in distress! Because of them my stuff is being shipped to Florida on time. THANK YOU!!

   Great Job!!

   JJ Cabus movers did a outstanding job with our 5 bedroom move! The crew was professional, polite and clean cut and fast! We hired this company at the last minute due to our original movers not showing up. Were so glad that we found this amazing company with Great prices, NO DAMAGES, no scratches on the walls or floors! Great Job guys, we will be calling you if we ever decide to move again.

   They were amazing. I would highly recommend JJ Cabus Moving.  I found them courteous and very professional, artful in maneuvering your belongings as to not damage them or the walls.   They were very upbeat and accommodating and made a very stressful day surprisingly stress free.  They stayed in communication so I had no worries about having the help I needed on my move in date.  The items were packed in their truck with great care and transported with no damage to my items – remarkable.  The best home move experience I have ever had.

   My family and I were very happy with JJ Cabus Moving company. The crew were very professional and polite. They worked very hard and did not even take a single break! If we ever move again or know of any family or friends that will be moving in the future we will tell them they can't go wrong with this moving company. Great job guy's!!

   Poor Start.

   I was disappointed that John and his team were nearly 4 hours late to the move; I had to reach out to John and his team to see when their arrival time would be. The entire start of the move was very poorly handled; I was about 15 minutes away from ordering a UHaul and doing the job myself. Once everyone arrived, the move went fairly well. I was disappointed in how the bill was handled, it was disorganized and some charges seemed unclear. I was told I could pay the entire bill on my credit card, but mid way through the move I was strong encouraged to pay some of the bill in cash.    Here is the deal, I saved over $400 by going with JJ Cabus, but that $400 saved may have not been worth the hassle of their lateness and lack of professionalism in handling the billing, some furniture not in 100% same condition when it was delivered.  .

   Avoid JJ Cabus Moving Company.

   The guys were nice enough and though we were told it would be 1 -1.5 days with a team of 5 persons we had a total of 3 persons on a consistent basis. The lack of people extended our move to beyond 2 days of services. They lacked communication in their work often having us repeat ourselves or not relaying information leading to additional time wasted; however, the biggest issue was in the removal of the trampoline. We were told they understood exactly what needed to be done to tear down the trampoline. This was a bold face lie. After wasting 1/2 hour on the task and taking a sledge hammer to get it apart they indicated it was rusted together. In fact , it was not. You have to remove all the springs before you can pull the frame apart. It took my wife 15 minutes to take it apart after returning to our former home, but the damage was done. After calls and emails to the owner who said they would come back out and take care of it they went silent. They also did not complete the move of the fridge as they indicated in their contract and shame on us for paying them before ensuring they would finish that final task. Pay the extra money with someone else, get a firm contract and avoid this company. Lewis Center, OH.

   Do not use them!

   They are thieves! They stole my fiance's gun please lookup my police report. http://www.columbuspolice.org/Reports/PublicReport?caseID=4254889 They refused to do anything about it. They literally asked my fiance to search the guy belongings. They also told us to do all the work and search the truck. The owner had zero interest in helping himself. He still till this day will not take responsibility for the theft. I run a warehouse and if something goes missing no matter who it is I am responsible. This guy just tries to blame me to discourage me from speaking out. The one mover guy had his girlfriend show up in the middle of the move and park out front of my house which he could have easily have handed it off. They are EXTREMELY rude! My only regret is that I paid them my hard earned money to steal from us and damage our property. Do not ever use these guys. I have hired many professionals from this site and they have been a delight to have come clean and do work at my home. These guys showed up over an hour late and brought the wrong size truck and had then chose to milk the clock and do two truck loads from Victorian village to Bexley. Which meant I had to drive both ways and they clock keeps running while they drive very slow which was appreciated because they already damaged stuff so we didn't want anymore of that. We honestly could go on about how the owner texted me late at night with extremely rude messages trying to accuse me of his workers problems. And the fact I had to go to Thumbtack support to get a respond from him that wasn't a lie. He did get the door they broke repaired after a month but never did anything about the gun theft. So I repeat do not use these guys! You might not realize it right away but something was most likely stolen. We noticed right away because we always check our valuables very thoroughly. Mr Cabus you have lost a future customer and I will be sure to post this everywhere I can so that nobody else falls victim to your lies and thefts. Aaron.

    Unsatisfied!

    On April 21, 2014, my husband and I requested Cabus movers to load a truck in New Albany, Ohio.  We moved to Texas and needed professional movers to actually load the truck.  We had church volunteers assist in packing all of our boxes and shrink wrapping furniture.  The volunteers brought everything out of the apartment and placed everything at the foot of the truck.  The sole responsibility of the two Cabus-hired men was to PROPERLY load the truck to protect my belongings.  THIS DID NOT HAPPEN.  When the truck arrived in Texas, we had over $4000 of damage.   The dining room set had several gouges and scrapes on the base and chairs..but somehow the glass top made safely - go figure.  The king-sized leather sleigh bed had a 3 inch puncture on the footboard and numerous scrapes/scratches in the leather of both the headboard/footboard.  One of the box springs for my Tempurpedic bed was completely broken. There were numerous other scratches/dings to list here..each insignificant on their own..just extremely disappointing all together.  The professional movers that were hired in Texas required me to take pictures of how the truck was loaded before they would even unload for me.  They also had me take pictures throughout their unloading process because they were fearful that they would be blamed for the damage.  Cabus Movers required me to sign a receipt when they finished loading stating that there was no damage.  I even wrote "great job," because the two men loading the truck were very personable.  Little did I know that I would find damages once the truck was opened in Texas.  They may have not damaged anything while actually loading the truck; but,  the WAY they loaded the truck caused much damage.  I called and text messaged the owner for two months and he never returned my call.  He would text to tell me he would call that evening or the next day…and NEVER did.  He had one of the loaders call me to say he would lose his job if I filed a complaint.  This type of communication is poor business practice.  To top it off, the owner emailed me my receipt on JULY 24, 2014..over 4 MONTHS later.  Based on my experience, I would never again use this company or refer anyone else to do so.  My replacement furniture arrives on August 9..to which Cabus has offered ZERO in damages for me to apply to my costs.   (Note: I am only permitted to post two pictures to this site..but I have many more.).
