   Fast and careful.

   LA Moving Center has an amazing moving team and they work great together! They were on time, professional and very friendly. Each of them introduced themselves immediately and respectfully, and they enjoyed working together and supporting me in my moving process. I will use them again for any of my future moves and I highly recommend them.

   I have been waiting for my furniture for five additional days. I have called Steve everyday to get an update. However, due to caller ID he has ignored my calls directly from my phone. So I had a friend call and what do you know he answers. I would like to express that he is professional until you make that first payment and all down hill from there. Long distance moves policy is to pay 50% at pickup and 50% at delivery. 9 days has passed and still no furniture. Not sure when and if I will see my belongings. Please save yourself the headache and frustration I wish I did the same. If you decide to use this company make sure you use a credit card and have renters insurance.

   I met with Steve and another mover. He said he will meet me between 9-9:30. I arrived at around 9:04 and seemed perturbed that I wasn’t there at exactly 9a.m.. Both movers were courteous throughout preparing to move one large item. They both shrink wrapped my item after removing drawers. Steve & his helper couldn’t figure out how to get my item out of the house without disassembling it. Steve refused to disassemble it and charged me $100 for coming out to the S.G. Valley to pick up the item, $100 for how long it would have taken him to drive/drop off the item in Orange County. He said an additional $100 for the E.T.A. to drive back to the S.F. Valley from Orange County. Steve and his associate were at my service for roughly 20-25 minutes. My business partner & I disassembled it ourselves after Steve left within around fifteen minutes. Steve refused to stick around for that and charged me $300. anyways. I want everyone to beware of this.

   DON'T HIRE THEM if you want to move pleasantly!

   Hired LA Moving Centre and not only they took forever to finish and charged me a lot more than they estimated, they damaged so much stuff. Filed a complaint and took forever to finally close to close the case, which means that they offered $600 for the damages. They told me to send them the screenshot of the proof that I deleted the review at Yelp, then they would send me the check. However, they not only deleted my review but closed mt account at yelp! Now I am totally stuck. It is so hard to get in touch with them, they twist the story around (they said they wanted to see the scratch on the floor, gave me the time frame, I stayed at home during the time, they didn't show up and told me that they wanted to stop by in the late night, I said no for that, and now to them I refused to see them), they are so unpleasant to talk with.

   LA Moving Inc. Do not hire.

   Do not hire LA Moving Inc. Disastrous! They will destroy your household belongings! LA Moving Inc. President: Lillian Karina director of operations: Steve Karina aka steve k. And Stan Karina operating out of sierra Bonita avenue, Los Angeles, 5140 white oak, Encino, and Sacramento. This complaint must be read by anyone who is even thinking about using the services of la moving inc. The company advertises mostly on craigslist and other websites. This company doesn't deserve to earn a penny a day.  La moving inc. Was hired to do an interstate move. They damaged all my furniture, refrigerator, piano, crushed lamps, shredder, glass shelves, broke off legs of printer tables, broken crystal dishes, porcelain figurines, packed my pictures with cardboard and newspapers stuck among them and these pictures were damaged, cleaning products poured into boxes, etc.  This was a disastrous move. I still have at least 70 boxes that I have not been able to open due to my medical conditions and scared to find out what happened to the contents of those boxes. They denied everything about damages. Upon inquiring from the public utilities about la moving inc., the only license la moving inc. Has public utilities license to move within the state of California and are not allowed to do an interstate move. However, because this was an interstate move, this matter belongs to the department of transportation. Upon calling the department of transportation, I found out that la moving inc.'s dot license 1866612 and motor carrier license/insurance mc 674826 were revoked on November 19, 2012, and the company had no authority or privilege of any kind to do any interstate move. A complaint has been filed with the dot and penalties are coming depending upon the violation. Their license with the secretary of state was suspended on may 1, 2013, and upon me telling them that the license was suspended, they reinstated the license. However, because my move was after the suspension, they had no authority to move interstate. They provided me with three (3) different certificates of liability that weres sent to me by steve Karina and their insurance agency, la west insurance services. They do not currently hold general liability coverage - that is the latest information. They are misleading the public and taking consumers' monies and leaving them high and dry. The only insurance coverage they have is workers comp. Auto insurance and cargo insurance. Please do a search under la moving inc. - you will find the disastrous complaints!La moving inc. Advertises on craigslist Los Angeles. They operate under multiple telephone numbers and they post at least 20 - 30 listings. La moving inc. List their-their dot license 1866612 and motor carrier license 674826 that is not existing at this point to qualify for a legal interstate move. Please visit:  protectyourmove.Org 1-888-368-7238)  this is the department of transportation website and find out the facts. They indicate that they are fully licensed, insured and bonded.  Not true. Below one of the headlines of la. Of transportation - la moving inc.'s license remains revoked as of November 19, 2012.  No general liability insurance available.  The insurance available according to the dept. Reviews reading the comments from steve k., I must note that what he wrote is nothing but a cover up.  Reading the various reviews/complaints on yelp and all other complaints on the internet about how la moving damaged consumers' furniture, etc., proves that your company has serious issues with moving services. The fact that you are misleading the public and providing moving services out of the state of California without a dot license and mc carrier license/insurance is also a very serious issue.  All consumers should ask for proper insurance documentation prior to hiring la moving inc. As I stated all information about your company is public record and there has not been any discrepancy in what I stated in my review that is any different on the department of transportation website.  Perhaps I should start uploading all the public record information for consumers to see from the department of transportation website. The carelessness of moving/packing and damaging household belongings by your workers is simply unacceptable.The damages were caused by your moving company and no one else.  It appears that your movers tend to tell the customers that the damages were there before. Did your movers marked those pieces of furniture prior to starting the move?  Most likely not, because you had no proof. Your company caused extensive damages to all my household belongings and it is unforgivable.  There many things that are not replaceable.  Do you understand that?You should address the duty that you owe consumers, by providing qualified movers and the proper insurance coverages when you contract for moving services!  At this point, it does not appear that you do that!There is nothing to talk about because there is no trust left here in trying to resolve this with your office.End of story! I definitely do not believe these great reviews.  As a matter of fact, yet, I found another cracked vintage lamp that is porcelain and I am fuming mad about this. I believe these reviews have been made up by someone other than a customer.   Such negligent work.  This is a nightmare and the world will yet come down on la moving inc.I believe that things are catching up with la moving inc. And Mr. Steve k. If a Russian guy named "Steve" calls you, stay away, trust me. If you fill out a "Price quote" thing on the internet, do not use them! They're rates were extremely low, so I picked them to move me from la to ca. They said it would take 2-3 weeks, and a flat fee of 1600. They asked for half the cash up front, and it took them 6 weeks to get to my house. When they finally did get here, half of the stuff was missing. While they were unloading the truck, they had me stand outside of the truck and have me tell them what was mine and what wasn't. They lost all of my clothes, kitchen stuff, electronics, and my 1200 bike! Just lost it. They have no idea. And the stuff they did deliver was broken (bed broken, plastic containers broken". They told me when I pointed it out, that, and I quote "It's on a truck, thing update:  on September 20, 2013, I have found yet, again, a lamp dump in my wardrobe box among my clothes - a porcelain lamp cracked across the lamp. All my clothes will have to be washed/dry cleaned due to the fact that dirty surge protectors and luggage carrier, etc. Were dumped among my clothes. Shame on you - la moving inc.

   These guys are the shakedown kings. Promised 2pm, arrived 8pm. Told us needed more time than they quoted. I felt like I was being pressures to spend more money. I have a baby who is freaking out, has her crib packed up and no where to sleep. I have no idea what to do.

   Terrible - DO NOT USE..

   My move was scheduled for 3pm. Small move, 1bedroom equivalent. At 3pm I called the sales rep STEVE, who said he would find out where the guys are and why they're late and call me back. Never did. Half hour later, I called HIM back. He said they would be there by 415. I received a call from the actual mover a short time later saying 430. At 430 I called the mover back. He now said he'd be there by 530. At this point, Steve was no longer answering the phone. I left him two messages and called at least 5 time over a 2hour period. No response. At 6pm they STILL were not there. THREE HOURS LATE! Who wants to move in the dark? I called the mover and asked him to have steve call me. Instead someone named MIKE called. He said he would offer me a 5% discount. Yes, FIVE PERCENT. What a JOKE. Ruined my whole move. Everything was packed up, ready to go, friends were there on time to help - and POOF - like that it was all ruined by this JOKE of a moving company. AVOID at all costs, unless you feel like waiting around for HOURS and getting the runaround from anyone considered management in this non-customer-centric company.

   La Movers.

   The movers weren't bad however to load boxes they carried them by hand an placed them beside the truck. Instead of using the huge dollys the had an instead of just loading them they placed them in the grass to me this took much more time than neccessary it seemed very unprofessional to say the least. William is the owner an I had the privilage of being screamed at an spoken to in ways I never dreamed possible from a business owner. I was told I could pay with a check to only have him contact his employees an demand cash. Also from what I gather this company has changed names several times per employees mouth. I was warned of this prior however I thought it best to ask an not believe hear say an this William character assured me that info was false so I trusted in his word to only find out by his own employee it was true. He would not let them unload until we went an got the cash. So this took aprox 45 min. He was extremly hostile an unprofessional. I would strongly urge noone use this company. I will be complaining to the BBB. Only use movers that are BBB accredited I wish I would have followed suit. Moving is stressful enough noone needs an unprofessional business owner screaming an using foul language at them.
